The race for last place

I've been saying for awhile not to be deluded by Denver's 1 win and overlook them because Orton is worse than Henne and Elway being the only other recent era Stanford QB to be highly rated coming out is motivated. Tebow and his mad wildcat type scrambling might ruin it for them at this point so I wouldn't be surprised to see him removed for "inaccuracy" if they come close to winning or actually do win another game to be replaced by the great Brady Quinn. If that happens I still rate them as the odds on favorite.
 
Jets look like a mediocre .500 team right now, but I wouldn't put them in SFL category.

If Miami beat the Jets this weekend they are 2-4, 1 game ahead of Miami. After Miami they play SD, BUFF and NE. That could be 3 more losses putting the Jets at 2-7. The Jets are already on the verge of falling apart. A couple more losses and it seals the deal.

And how are the Cowboys close?

The Cowboys could swing either way, they are on the bubble. Probably.500 this year. They play NE next and that's another loss. STL is gonna win at least one this year, Dallas could be that win. The same with Phily, they stink but I can see them beating Dallas. So, like the Jets, they are treading just above SFL territory. A couple of losses and they could fall apart like they did last season.
 
Here is how I think it will look at the end of the year based on the remaining schedules of teams in the hunt.

1. Colts 1-15
2. Phins 2-14
3. Rams 2-14
4. Denver 3-13
5. Jacksonville 3-13
 
Manning steps under Center as he doesn't want Luck on his team he is highly motivated to get back before that happens

The problem is both teams already have 2 wins and are good for a few more. The Jets are 9 point favorites next Monday, fwiw. Maybe we have different definitions for SFL but I just can't put a loaded team with a .500 record in the SFL category, seeing as how their absolute worst case scenario is somewhere around 6-10 like last year. That won't be bad enough to get Luck.
 
We're not in first. As it stands right now the draft order would be 1)Indy, 2)Miami, 3)St. Louis. Indy will definitely take Luck which leaves only Barkley or Jones for us. Either of which I would take.​

I got the Cowgirls running up the score on NE this weekend!!! I'm calling it right now. Very very good matchups for them

EDIT: Also, technically we would only be 1/2 game behind the urinbombers if we beat them on MNF (They would have one more win and same number of losses)
 
Jets won't make POs but they will be well out of the sweepstakes as will Dallas, Rams are set, KC is winning 4-6, Indy - Manning will be back - Seattle could win 3-4, AZ screwed the pooch with Kolb they won't draft a QB, I don't see how anyone competes with Miami once they IR Long, our D is what it is

Well, actually our D was very good last year. Top 7 all around IIRC.

We will shock some teams, and hopefully the debbie doubters along with them
 
Did anyone watch the colts game yesterday? I'm wondering if it's my sick mind or did anyone else notice colts were up 24-7, then after halftime colts got in kc territory one time and didn't come close to scoring. Clark drops a pass he never drops? To me it looked like owner and gm told coaches and players to stop trying and to lose the game. They made it look good by scoring in first half. It's much easier to lay down in 2nd half rather than the other way around. I bet colts won't win one game and manning doesn't come back this year, they will say they have no chance of playoff so why risk manning health. Let him get healthy for next year. What's your thoughts?

That would NEVER happen. Cmon people.
 
To the person who calls himself the Confessor our D is not 7th best our D was hidden on the sidelines and we dnt have that strong a side to go toe to toe with average teams like Clevelend then we are in bad shapoe - Our plodding Offense helped hide our D by keeping them off the field
