Given the uncertainty surrounding negotiations, players already waived, including those cut on Sunday, could be recalled by teams. ESPN.com's John Clayton reports that the Rams and Jets have decided to stick with their cuts of WR Isaac Bruce and C Kevin Mawae, respectively

.....

Bruce's release came after an all-day negotiating session that failed to produce a reduced salary for the long time Ram. He was scheduled to make $6.5 million and had a $1.5 million roster bonus due in the next couple of days. No deal was reached Sunday night, so the Rams placed him on the waiver wire and saved $8.1 million of cap room.

Bruce isn't going to play #3, and that's really what Miami needs. He's too old to be a good choice for #2 when that need is filled just fine with the younger Booker.

I don't see a fit here.

I see a huge fit here!

He is a top drawer reciever whose experiance would be most welcome to a team that is getting younger on offense.

In this day and age of salary cap/free agency, any pick-up like this would be great, even if it was just one year.

He would be an upgrade over Booker in my opinion - his stats dont lie. I know we need a number 3 WR, but I'm not going to say no to any upgrade!

Booker is ok however I think Bruce would be an upgrade. Bruce seems like he would be a good fit in Minn. Vikings

Maybe, but I don't know if the WCO is the best fit for Bruce. He is not good at getting YAC.

true, but he would instantly be their primary third down target......as of now, they don't have one WR on their roster who can be counted on to get open and make the catch in a crucial situation. Bruce would be a perfect fit in that regard.

there are gonna be alot of teams trying to get him. I read that even the Rams are gonna try to work out a deal to keep him though, who knows
