:dm: HI GUYS I AM ANEWBIE HERE and i am a converted redskin fan but have always had a special place for the fins and i am here to stick with the team thru the good and bad times.
here is what i think is the problem is.

problem is our recievers are not making plays except for mr. welker and the oline even though is young they just are not talented. if Duante is done due to this injury and a lot of experts think he may be . we have joey and just because quinn is having a bad year doesnt mean he cant cut it. he does not have weapons like last year.

so we can bring in two f/a olinemen and draft 1 wr and a big te tehn take the rest of the draft picks and focus on dline, outside linebacker and safety then we should be better and then next draft (08 we can draft rb, oline, te and receiver and then we should be competitive.

Brady Quinn or Joe Thomas. There is no other acceptable pick if we don't trade down. Period. End of story. There's no argument to be had.

Fundamentally sound. Good WR's can be had in the 2nd-4th rds.

I dont look for Miami to take a QB. Just my feeling.

Our problem isn't the QB or the WR's its the O-LINE!!!!!! Without 3 seconds to throw the ball, no WR is open in 3 seconds, you haven't even made your move yet.

I didnt like the pick of Hagan last year. So I would wait to the later rounds to draft a WR.

What if they are both gone? Why are people just assuming that we are gonna have the top pick in the draft . . . there are 9 games left, and this team is comming off of a bye, why are we rooting for this team to lose all of their games to get a higher pick . . . maybe u aren't doing this, but post like this lead me to believe that many people are. Maybe we will have the top pick, but with 9 games left its wayyy to premature to think like that . . . I for one want a win on Sunday . . . I want to see some improvement.

Hagan . . . like Crowder were both originally projected first rounders. Crowder fell because of injuries . . . and Hagan fell because he had a terrible Senior Bowl. But don't get it twisted, Hagan maybe was the best route runner in the draft and can make the Big Catch . . . his only knock is that he sometimes gets the dropsies . . but he was a top WR everywhere else and has no character issues. I think Hagan was a good pick by Nick, because we needed WR.

Your right though, watching the Colts vs. Denver there is something that you really notice. Peyton has all day to throw the ball. Our line is nowhere near what the Colts O-Line is, but if we could get our line to give our QB almost the same amount of protection as what he gets we could make Joey or Daunte look good. Peyton is no different though than any QB that we have, if they get pressure on Peyton he doesn't look good, just like our QB's when they have to move around the pocket and get rid of the ball quick they dont look good. I'm not an any way saying that Daunte or Joey are as good as Peyton, but I am saying that wouldn't be as bad with more time than what they get.

If we draft Quinn that means we spent 3 picks on QBs this year. No way we spend half of a seasons picks on 1 position.

sorry mustang i live in okla i just couldnt root for the dallas cowboys nor can i root for the jets, pats or eagles.

:cooldude: guys can the dolphins improve enough if they bring in 2 olinmen 1 wr and 1 te and 2 olbs and 1 dt ?

at first i thought hagan was a good pick but all our recivers cept welker have the dropsies so why did we need another inconsistent reciver you can't afford to drop any passes in a game the nfl is to competetive for that our recivers are getting the ball but they just don't make it happen with the exception of wes .......chambers mc michael they have been droping the ball for too long now something needs to be done
