I see alot of opinions on our problem. The o-line, Duante, Our Dbs No turnovers from our D. I think our problem is our overall philosophy.Look at the winning teams in the league Pittsburg New England Seattle Atlanta Jacksonville they have a system and draft players that fit there system. We trade away draft pick after draft pick for other teams Garbage ( Feeley Culpepper) and what are we on D a 3-4 or 4-3 make up your mind and get players that fit your system. Miami also has a problem holding on to guys too long JT and Zach are not worth what were paying them. Look again at the teams I mentioned if a player wants more money or gets too old they get rid of them. Mcginist, Randel El, Deon Branch, Givens, Plaxico Burris, the list goes on and on. Where are our young studs that are in there 2 or 3 year that will take over. We have none or very little or they don't play. James Allen gets drafted in the first round and can't start on the worst secondary in football. This means we drafted a bum or our coaches are reluctant to start a rookie. How much worse could he be. Look at San Fran they dumbed everyone sucked for 3 years and now have young players like Gore, Alex Smith and there TE (forgot his name) they are on there way up. Are we. Too many old players on our roster, too many wasted draft picks, and bad play calling. Our one young stud is Ronnie Brown give the kid the rock. 70 yds at the half 2 carries rest of the game. We are not terrible we just need to stop trying to fix things with duct tape and stop giving our picks away and build from within It may take more than one year but it will be worth it.

good post, good organizations run a system. This why Danny boy in Washington will never win. Paying big bucks for overhyped talent will never replace scouting, drafting & developing your guys, just ask Bellichik.

i like the moves saban has made, getting daunte for a second round pick is an awesome pickup, he will get better this season mark my word. Matt Roth is a young player that we are grooming to come in probably next season and start, JASON ALLEN, not james, anyway he is a rookie and he needs more time, bc he held out of training camp, i think he will be a great pick and a game changing FS. Some other solid young guys on our team are CB-Daniels, LB Chrowder, ronnie is a beast and wes welker is really coming on strong this year. We have talent lets not get dracstic here bc we start out 0-2. Keep faith in your dolphins, even when we were down 16-0, and we got the ball with about 3-4 min left i still believed we were going to win bc until that clock reaches three goose eggs its not over, i think thats how every fan should be as well

I respect your view. There is valid substance in your take. 2 games into it, is a little quick to pass judgement though, to see how it plays out. BUT.....I AGREE

Sorry I meant Jason not James maybe if he played I would have remembered. I am not giving up I just don't see us be a Super bowl team this year and next everyone will be a year older.

Good post. We need to start stockpiling picks because we aren't getting any younger. I also agree, they abandoned Ronnie WAY too early.
