Mueller has one year left on his contract. Ginn can help the Dolphins win in his contract year. Quinn would be holding a clip board in his contract year. Quinn would help the Dolphins win in year two and beyond, but Mueller made the best choice for the future of Mueller and not the Dolphins.

You are really reaching here. Mueller picked Ginn, because he is a game changer and felt there wasn't much difference between a player like Quinn and Beck. I hated the move at first, but after seeing what he did in round 2, Mueller did a very good job.

Another number 2 reciever can help the Dolphins win? That's if Ginn even cracks the depth chart. He'll return kicks and is solid at that, something we've needed for years. But you cant pass over a possible franchise QB something we've needed for even MORE years. With the players available at number 9, and even lower, they could have at least traded down and filled holes in the secondary and on the offensive and defensive lines before they took a receiver who's not as good as the ones available at even number 40.

What are you talking about...Mueller has a looong history of getting great players and helping teams win. He is one of the best GM's in the league. He isnt going anywhere

Yeah he drafted Walter Jones for Seattle, one of the best tackles to ever play. So he should know how important it is for a team to solidify their offensive line.....which he didn't do in the draft.

In some cases, yes. Hester made some pretty big plays for the Bears last year. If Ginn is a playmaker of that caliber, he can help us win.

The Dolphins haven't had a KR-PR threat like that in a LONG LONG time. Which is the only reason i dont hate Ted Ginn, i just hate the pick. Too early to take a WR.

Good point, but maybe noone saw a walter Jones type player in Levi Brown who was the only worthy LT on the board at 9. The Satele pick was good although I wish we could have grabbed Kalil just 1 pick ahead of us. We are moving Carey to left tackle (Although I think thats a bad idea to mess with the chemistry on the right side) and move hadnot to guard while Satele plays center...I dont think our oline is as bad as proclaimed. We'll be alright I think

It did seem a bit early as most experts had him slotted 15th pick or later. The thing is, if the FO sees something in this guy and the Texans were going to make him their next pick, then it may have been the best move.

BTW, remember Levi Brown was not on the board at 9. He was taken by Arizona at 5.

I think if we could have traded down we would have, maybe there were just no offers
