The Dolphins were suppose to win 6-8 games this year and next year make a push for the play-offs and in 2 more years maybe make a run and win some play-off games.

Ww got man-handled today, no excuses, Baltimore pressured and forced us to do what we didn't do all year in the regular season! Turnovers! They broke down Mr Cool Chad! They Dominated!
You can look back all you want and say, if we only went for the score, if we didnt miss the PAT, if this if that, We are not ready period!

We need a good off-season via draft, some FA maybe or trades to get to the next level, but we ARE 1 year ahead of the program!

As much as I hate Baltimore, congrats! You earned this game, came into our house 2 times this year and beat us! We need to look into building a defense like theirs!

Anyway, Thanks for the great Year Dolphins, more than I could of asked for and I am excited for the off-season and next year!!

well at least we don't crawl into the offseason with our wupped tails between our legs like last year. bad news is we slipped way back in the draft. we need to add some quality FA's and some smart draft picks to remain competitive.something the past front offices have bungled badly. also we have to make a decision on penny, chad and beck. we've got a lot of money tied up in 3 back-ups.penny earned his coin this year.the other 2nd rounders have to either step it up or step out.

I think we did great this season.. before it started I honestly would have been satisfied with 4-6 wins

I am pretty bummed out with the way we played today. I don't know if Chad just tried to force too many throws, or whether the Raven's defense and secondary is that good, but we lost to a better team today. For whatever reason we went away from the Wildcat again today, just like in the prior game against the Ravens. I thought the playcalling was way too conservative at times, but when Chad went down the field his throws were way too high or off the mark. We had some chances despite the 5 turnovers but you cannot win when you turn it over this often. It's been a great season and I look forward to 2009.

IMO, it is all about changing the mentality surrounding this team, which TS and BP did rather easily this year.

I mean the F.O. couldn't get a decent free agent in the past 10 years (besides porter and brock marion) because who in their right mind would want to come here anyway? That is all about to change. Players are going to want to buy into this team mentality and work for BP and TS. TS has made football fun again for players on this team.

I see miami really being a potential serious player in 3 more years. For me the reality of who miami really was never waivered throughout the season. Miami still is that 6-8 win team (on paper) that just overachieved this year. That is part of the master plan though and as long as TS and BP are in the organization, they are going to keep getting players who will overachieve. Bellicheat is a master at doing that. Looks like TS is going to follow in BP mold of doing the same thing...

Truth hurts...

yah, and the truth is NE LBs are gonna need walkers, Moss is an unguided missile who disappears when things go bad (see early season) who's another year older, a step shorter with less spring in his jump, no running game except for a Fins reject, most likely an untested new DE and a post operative Culpepperized Tom Brady if he comes back at all. Meanwhile you'll have tied up over $26MM in cap space for 2 QBs, one of whom could be gimpy and the other a second year reincarnation of Derek Anderson. You'll continue to be watched like hawks making the cheating which well could have won you several Superbowls pretty tough to pull off.

You've got your own issues and problems, so you're better served returning to your coven of vacuum-visionaries cause it feels so good to stroke each other.
