Perception of the players in the locker room is what I care about not this forum. Perception IS reality if the players think that Philbin is a puppet for Jeff Ireland and Stephen Ross. That is a brutal situation that I hope does not happen. IT CAN if stories like this are true.

You are trying to create drama when there really is none. This is a non story.

I am glad you think I have the power to create drama. Mando wrote an article that could create drama however.

I know everyone wants to dream BIG with the new hire...I have too...but if **** like this is true it is a bad, bad, bad sign for the Miami Dolphins.

I would say the same thing if McCoy got the gig and roles were reversed. I do not blame Mike McCoy.

Mando created his own drams yesterday by saying Philbin had been eliminated.......how did that turn out?
 
I will never be able to prove it until he becomes a HC, but I am convinced Mike McCoy would have assembled a better staff than Philbin. More connections, more experiences around the league and it is obvious from the article he KNOWS he weaknesses. He wanted a steady hand at the wheel of his D.
 
I'm sorry, but I don't know how to trust Armando anymore. He's been wrong on so many levels. Regardless, if this is true, it sounds like McCoy leaked this. I don't want a guy who leaks business affairs coaching my team.
 
I for one am actually happy ross seems to be standing his ground. If rumors are true of the way orton, and mccoy were handled, than ross is showing some stones. If it fails, it ultimately falls on him as an owner, as it should.

i like the hire. I hate to wish the patriots to win, but I'm hoping we hire ravens D coord, as ours. spagano... I believe if I have the spelling correct. we would have a green bay offense coupled with a baltimore defensive phiolsophy... I like that combo.

lets not act like he was the only one with man love for mCCoy. There were plenty of people on this board raving about him. What was it Nubs said when he heard it was down to Bowles and McCoy, I believe he called it a great day in dolphin history if he was hired . Im quite relieved we did not get McCoy and I dont care if it was pure accident, philben was way more qualified.

He did not. That is not true. He quoted some NFL insider I never heard of. In fact, he had a Tweet later from Philbin's people saying he had in fact NOT been eliminated.

Mando wrote it...you are sucked in and running with it. Get over McCoy or go root for the bronco's.
