Here is the reason why Culpepper was chosen to be our QB of the future:

If you look at the age of our defense, then you would see that they are old. In order to win you need a defense. "Defense wins championships" So if we brought in a rookie QB right now, by the time he gets a feel of the NFL, the good part of our defense (Thomas, Taylor, Traylor, Holliday, Carter)will most likely be done/retired. Culpepper has NFL experience and some playoff experience which Saban would believe he could lead this team to a superbowl while our defense is still here.

although it makes sence, the reason is because the doctors thought daunte was a better choice over brees because of the shoulder injury

Brees

Hey, i love the fins, but Go Gators!! Brees wanted too much money, that's why we got DC, but Drew is worth the money, he is a leader, he's smart, and he's consistent. I wasn't terrible excited about DC, but i preferred Drew Brees when i found out he was a candidate, and we would have had a completely different season had we picked him up, but woulda, coulda, shoulda. Go Gators i'm going to Arizona to watch Florida win the national championship.. The dolphins will have their day, just give them a couple years. I hope Saban doesn't jump ship. He's a great coach.

outside of our dline and zach thomas..the D isnt old at all ..but i get ur point and its prolly true

Yes that is true Joey and Lemon don't have enough experience abd we do need a good leader like DC

Look what he's accomplished in only 2 short years. Compare that with any other coach in football, anywhere. He's the greatest! All the other teams in the NFL are kickin' themselves for lettin' this soon-to-be-legend get away! Cant wait for next year! Can you imagine what Coach Nick and Mularkey will accomplish? Wow!

???

What are you talking about?!?
Mularkey has mucked up the playcalling and game plan week after week.
I still love Saban and believe in him, but he hasn't done anything yet. One word: Playoffs. That's the measuring stick in the NFL...

the reason was money and arm strength, brees problem at the chargers was his arm, that's why they went with rivers(plus he was getting paid too) they had to choose, butt brees wanted 60 mil or more and half of it up front, the fins are cashed strapped already that would not make sense, plus c-pep is more mobile, i think when he is healthy he'll be fine, but i'm glad all that joey harrington is better that c-pep stuff has died down because we know really that is not the case, even with brees here witht he line we had at the beginning of the season he'll would of been killed, plus we don't have the same weapons

The reason was that his lifetime stats look great, he had one of the best seasons ever as a QB (w/ Moss playing injured most of that year). Add to that he was injured and came pretty cheap (a #2 pick).

Looks great on paper. So far, the decision has bombed on the field.

That's a win now plan that hasn't worked for team like the Raiders or Redskins and now the fins if what you say is right.

I thought Culp was chosen because Brees wanted more $$ and the fins had quack doctors check him out?
