Everybody is bashing Chambers but he is not at fault.Reality is that Gus is not that much better than A.J and the only plus he has over A.J is that his INT's are not run back for six.Don't balme the receiver because we're still getting below average QB performances.

I think you also still have to look at the five guys in front of the QB as part of the problem.

With any luck, things will continue to improve at all six of those positions. :)

Oline has contributed some but they have done a fine job (Hey, They have really improved). We all saw how bad Gus accuracy is since preseason.

guys...come on already....are you even paying attention? The Dolphins have given up a total of like 3 or 4 sacks so far. Gus is getting plenty of time. He's just missing on the deep throw more often than not.

The number of sacks given up is a nice stat, but it only tells part of the story. Gus is a veteran QB who has never been known for having a Rob Johnson problem the way somebody like David Carr does. If the protection improves, Gus's play will also improve.

gus sucks but what are we gonna do play aj or sage? they suck worse right now in this offense.

The O-Line played well but they just gave up too many sacks in that Bills game down the stretch. WR isn't a big problem considering we have 3 guys who have been or could possibly be in a Pro Bowl game. But like everything on the offense, it could improve a little, especially penalties.

Who knows a fresh Qb could change things. It has happened with other teams where one Qb does better. And as long as Gus has been in the league he may just not be quick enough anymore. Although I am not sure whether we should pull the trigger just yet since Ricky coming back this week might help things and timing.

Chambers misses important catches right in his damn hands and lets balls freely get into defender hands while he doesn't even make an effort to swat it down or anything, these are some qualties I've seen from him recently. I'm not saying its Chambers fault or he is a bad player, but you can't blame this loss on Gus.

If the D would actually stop the penalties on damn 3rd down Gus wouldn't have to be in the position to win the game with his arm, which means THROWING DOWN THE FIELD.

I blame that whole loss on the D. Yeah, they played their hearts out...in the second half, only 17 points later no biggie. You can't expect to be down that much and just come on marching back, even though we should have won.

And from your detailed post, I can tell you are just making assumptions on stats. No doubt you didn't watch one minute of that game and just saw some "highlights" of Gus throwing INT's. You would have seen Gus play like a leader at QB if you actually saw the game, which we have been missing for a long time...

I hate that. It's like Chambers waits for the ball to come into his hands. Why doesn't he try to catch it?

BTW, Gus isn't the problem. 18 penalties is the problem. His turnovers didn't even cost us the game, everytime he turned the ball over it was on the other side of the field. We lost a chance at points, but the Bills didn't get any either. Brown's turnover at the end was costly. But the biggest one was the botched snap. Gave the Bills great field position and they scored 7 pts.

We are entering a difficult four-game stretch with only the Saints game being a glimmer of rest, and then we are welcomed back home with a game against the Pats, and you want to start criticizing the QB play?

A QB switch at this point is insane, accept Gus and move on man.

This is like your 20th bench gus/he sucks start aj (at first) now its start sage! thread in the past like 2 weeks Will you give it a rest? our coaches want him there for he stays nothing you can do will change that and they know a hell of alot more then you do. saying that, I trust them with any decision they make.

So you turn it around to Gus? that is piss poor. CC is not playing as well as in the past. There is nothing wrong with pointing that out. CC can turn it around. Its early and the team is still getting used to each other. The other thing is that R and R will get things opened up. I am not bashing CC, I only point out the obvious.

If you want to defend CC in the name of bashing your non sexy QB in Gus, then you look silly.

Changing Qb's right now with Gus doing just fine in the pocket is the most stupid thing I have every heard fans suggest.. Idiocy!
