Not trying to blame the officials but those two man down field calls are momentum killers. And most especially the non call on the roughing the passer. The back judge totally looked down field rather than looking at the QB. Tommy Bundchen gets that call everytime.
 
Without a doubt, they hurt, but if Gibson catches that ball on 3rd and long, we are looking at being at least 13-0 up, maybe 17-0. You cant control the refs, they can screw you, but in between that you cant hurt yourselves and we did that today.
 
We aren't talking about a couple "inconsequential" calls here and there:

* Two of our biggest offensive plays called back by bogus illegal man downfield calls.
* Smith push-off on Grimes for a big first down
* Should-have-been Safety on Flacco
* Clear late hit on RT not called
* OBVIOUS Hold on Wake as Forsett ran by him for his biggest run of the game, which was a back breaker.

Every one of those calls had a significant impact on the game. Combine them with Dallas Thomas' dreadful play, Gibson's huge drop, losing Jenkins in the second half, RJ Stanford at CB and I just don't know how we could be expected to overcome all that.

Oh, and how many bad calls went against the Ravens?

Funny because the league ref-consultant disagreed with you. But whatever, you know better because you said so.
