I am with you on this. They missed a delay of game on Favre on a touchdown drive. Missed the holding on Starks on the 4th down play where Favre threw up that prayer. Called a weak tripping penalty on Long on a nice first down run by Pennington. Terrible pass interference call on Goodman on another Jets touchdown drive.
All-around terrible performance by the refs, but what else is new when the Jets play the Dolphins.
The refs missed holding calls all day long that saved Favre's butt!!! We made a good showing though, and we should all keep our heads up. This is a rebuilding season, and we need to expect to struggle at time, but this team showed you today what it can look like with some experience and some better players.
On the Thomas Jones touchdown, two plays before, when Favre made like a 15 yard pass which set up the TD, the play clock had clearly run down. Again, the league favoring big market teams
Why wasnt there a pass interferance called on taht 3rd down pass to Bess? since when is it ok to put your two hands out on a recievers chest and stop their progression?
