.Cliff Russel impress everyone early in the pre-season.
Cliff was also seeing early playing time in those Game
What set Cliff apart from the other WR is he's a good ST player
as well, Russel can get behind most DB ,putting himself in position for a big play

Fred Beasley was beat hands down by Barnes no ? about it .
But once again no longer playing special Team . As well Randy Mcmike ..yes Randy ability to play FB (and we all know Randy can catch)

K.Vickerson or Jeff Z. will be gone by the 4 week of the season.

10 Defense lineman and 10 Offense lineman
truly has me puzzled but if I had to guess .The extra DL is the results of a possibly Trade ,The extra OL is B/c Joe Berger and Toledo injury.Saban said Berger will be out for sometime ,but I guess not long enough for IR.

Why only 4 runback ,well Saban is a Taskmaster
Sammy Morris is still a FB/RB if you ask me.with Mcmike and Radar playing FB
on occasion.Saban will try to stash either a young RB on the practice square.
What will Saban Do until Morris is back off sup.? picking up a RB off wavier is a option or enter the season with the 3 rb and if a injury happen
activating a RB off- practice squad

I think I agree with most of your opinions. outside of the obvious RB situation, I'm still a little concerned about the secondary as well as the dept @ LB.

i think people on here expect we will magically fix all the concerning holes, db/rb in one offseason and have excellent depth at all the positions. Remeber that we are a work in progress.

We have some issues but what team doesn't. Saban has done more than I could have hoped for turning this team around into a legit playoff contender in a really short amount of time.
