How far will Brady Quinn fall if Detroit passes on him, which I think is a good possibility? The more talk I hear it sounds like the Lions are interested in Thomas at #2, although you never know. Tampa Bay with Jon Gruden is a possibility for Quinn, but then you have teams that have young qb's that they are developing with Cleveland, Washington, Arizona and Minnesota. Those teams likely pass on Quinn, although I don't think Houston will. In any event, maybe the Dolphins wouldn't have to trade up much to get Quinn -- say 6th with Washington? What do you all think?

I think if Quinn gets by Detroit then he will be there for us at #9.I have been seeing more and more mock drafts having Brady falling to us!I am not saying it is GOING to happen but man-o-man would that be a great start!Cam could work his magic on Brady like he has done with Brees and Rivers.

The Lions could get him the Bucs could get him the Browns could get him the Texans could get him, he will be playing for one of those teams next year garantee it

It would sure be nice to see. And thats tough for me to say seeing as I strongly dislike Notre Dame. haha But I can't see him falling down that far, I can realistically see cleveland picking him. They need a QB... Frye isnt the answer there. I'm pretty sure I just saw something on ESPN saying Quinn might go as low as 10th, which sounded odd to me at first as why they wouldnt think 9th to Miami... but then i remembered... Culpepper.. But yeah... as much as i dislike notre dame, i really wouldnt mind quinn here. But, I have the feeling a QB in the first round of the draft, isnt our first choice... but... if quinn is still there, how can you really pass that up? It'll be interesting...

now... why not take a defensive player in the first round... and... pick up drew stanton in the 2nd??? he has the talent, just needs some coaching from that miserable MSU team... just a thought..

if the Lions pass we'll see. Quinn is an Ohio guy so Cleveland is possible but the need a RB (Peterson). Tampa could, but tey'll go ethier Thomas,CJ, or Adams/Anderson(need young DE). Vikes won't take him, Texans IMO won't take him (other holes much bigger than QB), Cards won't take him. Washington won't take him.

If he falls past Cleveland, someone will try to trade up. If he falls to us, take as much time off the clock as possible, try and make a trade (I like Quinn, but if someone will give us a slew of draft picks, I say we take the picks an run). If we can't make a trade, draft him.

Quinn will fall to us. It's just a matter of what we do with him. Trade down or draft him. I'm not sure if I would like for us to draft him. I would just be mad if we drafted him and Culpepper came back all healthy and almost back to his old form.

I dont think he will fall that far, but if he does, we better get him.
Actually having C-Pepp come back and have a great year or two is perfect. Not many kids are ready to come in right away. Marino didnt:wink:

I think the Browns could take him, Frye is young but hasnt shown much and Quinn being from Ohio could excite the fan base a bit more. The Vikings maybe. People say they have a 2nd invested in the guy they got but that doesnt mean much imo if they think Quinn is franchise type QB. The Bucs resigned Simms, but I dont think it was very long term. I remember them talking about a 2 year deal. 2 years isnt showing a ton of faith in Simms so them taking Quinn isnt out of the question either if Thomas and Johnson are gone. So if Quinn gets past 2 I dont think it's guaranteed that he falls to us by any means.

The important thing to remember is that if he falls to #9 and we don't want him but someone else does, we have the chance of putting together a trade.

Nobody at this time of year thought Leinhert would fall like he did. You never know.

God if Brady Quinn falls to us we take him and laugh at all the other teams that passed on him.

I can easily see him both being gone and being there, its a total tossup at this point but man do i hope hes around!
