10-6 and we should be in, rarely does a 10-6 team not make it (I think we were the last 10-6 team not to make the playoffs several years ago). 9-7 and it's doubtful we make it, esp. in light of the tough AFC east this year.

So we need 6 more wins, no more than 2 losses.....

The schedule...

Seattle
Oakland
New England
@St Louis
@Buffalo
San Fran
@KC
@NY Jets

So, best bet is run the table against the non-divisional opponents and take one game from our 3 divisional games.

If we take 2 of three divisional games, we can lose one of the non-divisional games.

What's the point of this thread?..... We still have a long way to go and the odds are still against us. If we can take care of business in the next two games, it looks a lot more plausible, so let's kick the **** out of the Hawks and the Raiders!!!!!!!!:hi5:

@kc and @ the jets are two cold weather games and they won't be easy!

We have played the toughest part of our schedule. I really believe we can run the table. The only division game that concerns me is the Bills. 11-5 or 10-6 is not unrealistic for this team.

Yeah the toughest games remaining in our schedule are against our division opponents. If we win 2 out of 3 division games then we make the playoffs IMO.

The Browns went 10-6 last year and didn't make it.

But I do agree with you, I think we'll finish 10-6 and shock the world by getting a playoff birth.

every game is tough right now. We have to prove that we can beat the teams we're supposed to beat before we can assume we're going to win any games.

Seattle and oakland are two games we should win, but so were houston and baltimore. We'll see.

10-6 should do it in the AFC this year.

Usually the AFC consists of, several great teams, several good teams, and a few bad teams. In that case 10-6 is no guarantee. But this year it consists of, one great team, many good teams, and a few bad teams. It is more bunched up this year and 10-6 should be good enough, hell 9-7 could do it for some teams.

I dsiagree to a certain extent, the fact that 4 out of our last 5 are on the road makes it a tough finish. We all know how hard it is to win on the road in the NFL.

Many of those game are very winnable. But so was the game against the Jets, Ravens and Texans earlier this year.
