With all the talk this week about the Jets Defense and Chad Henne, one thing kept bothering me. Why were people on this site and other sites saying that Henne gets deer in the headlight?

Ive seen Henne play since he was a freshman at Michigan. People on on own site obviously didnt know what they were talking about. Henne has played in games where there have been 100k + people watching him, screaming at him, rooting for him. He doesn't get rattled. Now am i saying he doesnt have bad games? no of course not. I know one thing. Those that were doubting him are nowhere to be found but the minute Henne has a bad game, they will poke their heads out of the ground to say i told you so.

If you saw the interview right after the game when they asked him questions, he still looked cool, calm and collected. Good for him and i hope he continues to improve week by week.

I agree with this post.

Where is everyone who was saying that Henne would have a bad game? Eat crow. 20-26, 200+ yards, 2TD's, 0INT's, 130.6 QB Rating? All I can say is wow.

It's his second NFL start as well.

After Henne's superb Monday night performance, as the popular Styx song title -

On the playaction bomb to Ginn, there was excellent blocking from our offensive line. On 1:29, you can see Fasano literally throw his man on the ground. Just a great play by everyone on the offense. And wow, what a perfect throw with Ginn running as fast as he was.

He was running that fast because he knew if he dropped it he'd keep running out of the stadium. Which would have been the safest place for him at that time.

All of a sudden our WR corps doesn't look so bad.
