Apparently in the Rock's new HBO series "Ballers" he plays a former Miami Dolphins player who now represents a current Dolphins player. It appears to be set in Miami.

Interestingly, this isn't officially sanctioned by the NFL or the Dolphins. It looks like they used the Dolphins identity without expressed consent. I wonder how Ross and the organization feels about it? I guess it's good pub, even if it will probably be dealing with the seedier side of NFL life...

The colors are similar, and the setting is undeniable. But as long as they don't show the logo, it seems ok. I could be wrong.

In the PFT article it says that they removed the logo for the trailer but it will be used in the actual show.

Really? The stripes and color green do not seem to fit. Weird they would show this trailer in one way, and the show in another. Maybe they were waiting for permission.
