I'm always a little nervous about anyone becoming the next great Miami RB. But I'm gonna take the optomistic approach. Yes, we have spent a fortune on #23 and potentially leveraged some of our future salary cap options. With that said and with limited knowledge of #23's ability, I'm very excited about Ronnie Brown becoming the newest face of the franchise.

Everything I see and hear about Ronnie Brown is positive. My early prediction:

Ronnie Brown will develop into one the best offensive playmakers in the NFL. Ricky Williams will quietly push Ronnie to compete on a higher level. #23 will learn to hit holes like #34 and in time show everyone that he has the best hands out of the backfield. And thats not to be critical of #34, because he does a good job catching passes. I just think #23 is gonna be one of the best in the open field. Its just a hunch. A QB with a nice touch could run wild.

I'm thinking Miami's Ladanian Tomlinson:eek::D

LT is the best back in the league...let's wait a while before we throw around his name. But all things are pointing in that direction. His size and speed out of college compare best to...Ricky! Let's hope he can play that way. I think he can.
