Personally I don't think the Saints or Saints Fans even come close to taking to Phins lightly. You guys have a good football team who could have a better record if a few things went your way. I do think we will win, but it is certainly not a given and the Phins can certainly beat us if we don't bring our "A" game.

The biggest thing I respect about your team is the physicality you bring, whether you guys win or lose you let the opposing team know they were in a fight. Not only that didn't you guys start off weak last year and get on a roll?? Bottom line is I respect what the Phins bring. Do I think we will beat them, yes, but I certainly ain't counting as a victory until the game is won.

mcteems.... don't get to over confident... Remember, we are 2-3. We are not some powerhouse team, so lets not pretend like we are.

yeah cus ESPN has us ranked as #19 so......

mcteems is just getting into game mode :) i will too, just not yet. can't sustain it for 5 days when it's not the jets or pats.

Isn't Sean Payton another Parcells disciple? Wasn't he on the staff in Dallas? Dang this is like getting in a fight with your brother. That's why the Saints team has that level-headed disciplined approach. Should be a good game!

Put it here...It will be a high scoring game but I have faith and I think are D will be able to get more stops than your D but I am not counting out yall because yalls team is really good. It should be a great game!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

It's never easy to beat a team that can run the football, but provided Brees plays like Brees you guys will leave with the win. If we can come within one score of the Saints, I'd consider it a moral victory.

Man, I just hope that Chad Henne has another good game like he did against the Jets. We know we can probably grind the Saints down with our running game. Our defense might be able to contain some of the damage that Brees will cause. Not all of it though.

With the Saints you gotta be able to rack up some points on them in a hurry if things aren't going well early in the game. We're going to have to rely on the arm of Chad Henne ... who's only in his 3rd NFL start. Henne needs to get the Saints defense to respect his arm early on or they are going to stack the box and all that. All our receivers need to bring their "A game" that's for sure. We might have to throw the ball a lot more than we planned to.

Dan Henning and all the Dolphins coaches better be working hard this week. They need a full arsenal of things to throw at the Saints. They need to be able to make adjustments quickly and all that. They need a Plan A, Plan B, C, and D probably.

Thanks for the respect, I think that is all most fans want is respect. As far as I can tell most fin fans respect the hell out of the saints and realize it could get real ugly real fast if we don't show up

A player has to believe he's going to win every time he steps on the field. As a fan, one has the luxury of not being delusional. We don't match up well with the Saints. Are we capable of winning? Absolutely. Any reasonable person, though, will tell you that the odds are against us.

If we were to ever beat the Saints, this would be the situation. We're coming off a bye, and they're coming off a big win against the Giants, and after us, they have a game against the Falcons. Also, we're at home. All that said, their passing game going up against our pass defense makes me very nervous.

I'm actually shocked that vegas is only giving the dolphins 6.5 points. I figured it would be double digits for sure. I guess the jets game really boosted vegas' views on miami. lol

Personally I think if this game was in the dome against the Saints then it would be far more deadly against us. Just the pure extra dimension of speed added then would truly hurt. Since it is down here that should give us a nice advantage.

Now that said I view it like this:
recievers = saints
TEs = Saints
RB's = fins
QB = Saints
oline = Fins
Dline = toss up
LBers' = Saints
Secondary = Saints
special teams = toss up both not good

Really I think it comes down to 3 major things

1. Can miami control the clock and keep brees off of the field
2. Can miami get a decent rush against the saints without bringing the house, we need to get pressure without a blitz else we will get torn up faster then the new man into the state pen
3. Can miami force the saints into being one dimensional and not fall behind, hence not losing their best rushing attack in the league. Also which would force young henne into a throwing mode and easier to pick off for sharper and others in the saints secondary, since our recievers dont know what seperation is when no play action.

those are my keys to the game in my eyes, good luck :)

I have heard of this "moral victory" but I don't understand it. Would you mind explaining it to me so I can appreciate it if we do lose this game Sunday?

We are going to physically bring the game to you guys. We don't really have the personnel on defense to be real physical, but we'll do our best.

On offense, we are going to find our best matchup and exploit that all day long. I hope your DBs like to tackle 230 lb running backs, because thats what awaits them.

The one chance we have is that we now have a QB that is capable of hitting a big play if we need it.

But on both sides of the ball, we are going to try to be as physical as we can. You guys may have enough superior talent to win, but I can assure you that come Monday, your guys are going to feel it more than you have so far this year.
