Shut down CB's are not a dime a dozen, when you have a opportunity to grab one there should be no Questions about it.It's the same with QB's, players in these poisitions with top talent don't become available every year.Yes it will cost an arm and a leg but finding bargain basement prices for CB's or QB's is almost impossible.You really get what you pay for and 2/3 years from now when lose in the playoffs from a burnt CB we'll be crying why didn't we pay the money!!!

Agree. It' so clear we NEED shut down corners. It seems our secondary is always giving the big, killer play. Remember the days of Surtain and Madison? We used shut down guys like Peyton Manning and J.T. & Co. would kill the Q.B. Just like the Giants did to Brady. I think it's essential for our success.

most definitely. a 3 and 8 now for our D is a 3 and 2 for any other teams D. I think our odds on stopping a team on 3rd down are far better when they have to go for 3 yards or less then more hten 5 yards. I mean how many times do we give up that 3rd n long? didnt we have the highest percentage? speaks volumes alone. sure our D line played **** n dindt put pressure but HELLOOOO what about the last 2 yrs where our D line owned n had sacks for lucnh n dinner but yet we still gave up that long 3rd down.

I'm going to give Joey Porter 1 more year before I get real depressed about that deal. Our defense and especially our defensive coaching was pathetic last year. Look how they used JT. Pssh! Lame! Our defense was offensive. HA!! ...Sorry
