I say we go all out in the draft. Time to take chances on boom or bust players.
Why? Because the safe strategy has netted us a decade of mediocrity. If we fail, let it be in a blaze of glorious flames so that we will succeed or latch on to pole position for Barkley.

In the immortal words of Sean Connery in SNL Celebrity Jeopardy:

"Suck it Trebeck"

"Suck it long, and suck it hard"

Seems Ireland likely to try and save his job by drafting safe again to show Ross that we are rebuilding. I really can't see him going for broke and putting his balls on the line for anything. One thing is certain, he WILL draft a QB somewhere. That much is guaranteed. I am sure Ross heard the fan uproar. Ireland seems to thrive on doing nothing that will put his job in jeopardy (pun intended).

Safe. Just safe enough.

In that case lets take Tannehill in the 1st, Weeden in the 2nd, a couple wr with both 3rds, and Ryan Lindley in the 5th. 3 QB and 2 wr would be a def change in draft strategy.

Was trading for Marshall the part of the safe strategy ? Drafting ginn, pat white, vontae ? Moving up for Daniel Thomas ? Dolphins fans are so like feeble minded women. Complaining for the sake of complaining.... As if jake long and mike pouncey weren't the right picks. Like stockpiling talented d-lineman didn't turn our defense around in a hurry.

We move Marshall for all the right reasons, miss out on ole' manning.....and then when they don't go nuts over an over hyped backup qb : it's the last straw and jokers are protesting outside the stadium. All of them brainwashed by the media. All panicking over what BSPN thinks. If there's a guy to call out its the owner, Ross... But the majority doesn't know any better. Jeff Ireland Doesn't listen to the knuckleheads, he will stay the course ! There's no pressure from within the walls of the office, it's all from the un-educated fanbase, and that's why a movement was made to inform the fans of what's going on, because all they had to go off of was the media.

I'm preparing for another post draft hiatus from finheaven, unfortunately. I'll be busy enjoying the results.

007 ,,, License To Kill!!

Think that's been the theme of drafts for quite a while ... they've got us mired below the .500 Mendoza Line!!

Man are we do for a Monster Draft!!

If Tannehill is not their guy I'd like to see them do the opposite and trade back a couple times for second and third round or future picks. We may have a decent nucleus of players but the new coach will want HIS guys. New England always pulls this off and is loaded in picks every year.

The negativity on these boards does get too wear on you after awhile. If we had signed Manning they would have complained he wasn't worth it. No way too win here, no matter what they do. Theres more positive talk about the Miami Dolphins on the Jets Gangrene website. I'm just saying...

All the right reasons? Moving a Pro bowler for nothing because he wasn't a nice guy?

What results are you expecting to enjoy? A below average season?

I wish I knew what drugs you blind optimists are on.

I don't think he was moved just for not being a nice guy. I think he was moved because the new offense doesn't need a true #1 receiver. If you look at Green Bay, the ball is spread around so much and isn't dependent on one main target. You need a group of guys that run really good routes with decent speed to succeed.

They had Jennings (a #1 WR), Donald Driver, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and an elite TE in Jermicheal Finley. Not to mention A. rogers as QB.

Too bad the words don't match what actually was there talent wise in GB. What do you see when you look at GB? Just a bunch of avg guys? LOL...They were able to spread it around because they had great talent at the position. Not below avg talent which is what we have.
