I know Saban is looking for a replacement for Reggie Howard, but he might also have to find a replacement for Sam Madison in the offseason. Sam has clearly lost a step, isn't comfortable playing off the ball, and he's not very good in run support--bad angles and containment technique.
At safety, Yeremiah Bell shows some promise and Traveres Tillman looks okay. I think we have figured out that Tebucky Jones just isn't an instinctive football player. Lance Schulters will probably stick around next year out of necessity.
So basically, we need at least 1 new safety and probably 2-3 new corners. Shirydona Mitchell and Will Poole will both come into the fold next year, and we have to hope that both of these guys return from the injuries and challenge for jobs. Add our needs in the secondary to the needs at linebacker, DT, OL, and QB and that tells you what kind of challenge Mueller and the scouting department will have in finding Saban some young and inexpensive talent in the draft and free agency to develop.
