Well, I hate to say it, but I think we may be lucky to win one more game this year. Unless Saban can right the ship, this season may end up being more dissapointing than last season's debacle. The sad thing is, this season started off great. We beat one of the best teams in the league on opening day, followed that up by beating one of the NFC's elite teams and after four weeks, were in first place.

Since then, we have lost six of seven games and have slowly but surely, racked up the injuries once again. It started to unravel in Buffalo. We set a team record for penalties in a single game. Somehow though,we were in the game. We were driving down the field to go in for the game winning drive, when all of a sudden, Ronnie fumbles, Buffalo recovers, game over.

Next came Tampa Bay without rookie sensation Cadillac Williams. We get outplayed for the majority of the game but once again find ourselves in a spot to steal a win from a good team. Frerotte can't pull the trigger and two sacks end the game. Doubt starts to set in. Can we finish games?

The Chiefs come in on short notice due to Hurricanes and completely dismantle our team on a Friday Night. It was for the better we didn't see that one on Sunday Ticket. Losing games at home now? Further seeds of doubts seep in.

Miami gets seemingly a break in having to face the New Orleans Saints in Baton Rouge. Miami almost blows it to one of the worst teams in the league. It shouldn't be this hard. Yes we got a win, but if we can barely beat a Saints team, how will we fare against stiffer opponents? Sam Madison is dinged up. Eddie Moore is out for the season, as is David Boston. The nonexistant injury report is starting to fill out...again.

Atlanta comes in and Vick has his best day of the season throwing the ball. Miami hangs in and you could feel the tide turning as we inched closer to tieing the game. Up until the interception on five yard line on third and two with the Falcons on their heels via the run game. All the insecurities are back. We can't close out the game. We lack the killer instinct.

Junior Seau is hobbled still. The injuries continue to mount up.

Somehow, even with all the heartbreaking losses, Miami finds themselves in a position to find a share of first place if they can beat a very injury depleted Patriots. Frerotte nails Chambers for a TD to have Miami take the lead late in the fourth. Finally, Miami has crossed over and can punch it in. What? Reggie Howard is covering someone on the flip side? Scratch that Miami chokes away the lead in record time. They have just enough time to get everyone's hopes up by getting into a first and goal situation only to not run the ball even once, again, and failing to get it into the endzone.

Chambers is public enemy number one, taking over for Scott Linehan. Oh well, we aren't completely out of it yet. Thank god we have the Browns coming in right? Right?

November 20, 2005. End Game. The day the music died. The day the team quit. Madison drops the easiest interception ever. Two plays later Zach's right arm becomes four inches longer than his left. Seau leaves the stadium in a boot and the only players who can leave with their heads held high are Ricky Williams, Ronnie Brown, and well...thats it. Who would have thought that Ricky Williams would be praised for NOT QUITTING and showing passion?

22-0. 55 yards passing TOTAL. A complete and utter disaster. The team and coaching staff quit angering fans. Zach is out for at least two weeks. Schulters is recovering from a stinger. Junior Seau is out for the season.

Week 12. @ Oakland. Randy Moss, Jerry Porter and without Zach in the middle, LaMont Jordan. They will saying thanks for this treat. Honestly, I don't anyway we can win. The worst part? I will be there in person to see Collins carve up our awful secondary all dang day.

Brace yourselves Dolphins fans, start looking at the prospects coming out of the draft. At this point, that is all we have to look forward too I am afraid.

On a lighter note. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and remember what is truly important...eating turkey and stuffing with familyand friends. :D

I think the changing roster is a good thing.

The younger players have more to prove and more to gain by playing hard.

Hopefully they can tackle as well...

you wearing your jersey to the game?

Jersey, Jacket, Hat. Absolutely. Just because I think we may not win another game, doesn't mean I am not a fan. :D I will be there to take my lumps, dish some out and hopefully come out in one piece. Anyone who knows me knows I don't go and "just watch." I plan on being the most hated person at the stadium...next to Al Davis of course...

YES...Get some raider fan azz :chair: :buttkick: :ko:

I heard this quote from a book called "Rich Dad Poor Dad".

"Sometimes you win, Sometimes you learn".

This year Miami is doing a lot of learning.

Good book read the whole series.
You sure bet we are doing alot of learning, at least the coaching staff is. I am afraid we will be doing alot of learning for years to come.

More disapointing than last season......?

No Way!

The difference is, I know where the ship is heading this year and its in good hands, I knew the organization was in the hands of idiots last year. For the majority of this season this team has been much more entertaining for me to watch than last year, which was just flat out embarassing to say the least.

I think you might get surprised at how many wins this team finishes with.

That was a great post Samphin. Bluefin, what do you mean? It sounds like you think we have a great team here and we're gonna win 4 out of the next six and sneak into the playoffs with a 7-9 record. I do think we'll win one, maybe two out of the next six, and I guess you're right; that would be a surprise from such a bad team.

It's possible we may not win any more games... Its possible to go .500... it's possible to win all of them.... we've been in every game till the Cleveland game. Which in my opinion was a necessary evil.

That was the decisive game for this team so far the season in respect to the finding out who they really are as players. Not necessarily relative to the mindset of overall "team" but relative to each players "competitive spirit' as it means to the focus, concentration and execution on the field.:rofl3:
At the thend of the Browns game it only reiterated what we've seen over the past few weeks. End of the game.... In the red zone... driving for the game tying or go ahead score... And just not getting it done.

Saban is going to see who steps up from here on out. CC just make plays... Gus.. just make plays... McMike.. just make plays...
I don't want to hear about why an incompletion is an incompletion... It doesn't matter... what matters is that it's incomplete... Everyone is to blame for it. We can flame one player or another. But in the end.. all players have been disappointing.
Thats going to be my angle for here on out.
