With all the Dolphins training camp info (thanks to everyone who gives us the inside info) I figured I would go in the opposite direction and give some inside info on the Buffalo Bills Training Camp seeming that I live about 2 minutes away from there.
1st off J.P. Losman- This kid is going to get hit, ALOT. He scrambles rather than throw the ball away. In fact I would say about 80% of the plays he scrambled on instead of throwing the ball. He did this for 2 reasons. 1) The pocket would collapes very quickly and 2) His WR could not get open. He does have decent speed, probably in the top 5 of QB's starting in the NFL today. He does have above average accuracy and throwing power is alittle above average.
WR's- With the addition of Parrish to the team you can tell the WR's are all about speed and not size. Parrish is about 5'9 but looks shorter than that and Lee Evens isn't that much taller or larger. If you put a physical CB on him they will get smacked hard. Even with all their speed I have yet to see any of them wow me with speed as they have been covered pretty well so far.
TE's- Alot of who is that, and what's his names. Looks like they are more for blocking only passes were 5 yards or less for them.
OL- Def. having some trouble and do not give the WR's or Losman enough time. Remember Greg Jerman??!! Well he got pancaked by Spikes in one on one drills. The weird thing is that the Center and RG are pretty decent but the rest of the line was getting blown back almost every play.
RB- This is simple. If Willis gets injured they are in HUGE trouble.
Overall D- I've heard many say that the D won't be as good as last year but so far they have dominated in training camp. They look pretty good from what I saw.
I have not seen one injury take place on the field and the only players with a red shirt were the QB's.
Well that's my report. Cya.
