Hey, Finfans, we are not winning the superbowl, so relax. This team is a mess, the gm is basically a rookie(he's not that good) we have a rookie coach, and probably a rookie qb . We all need to give them a little time to get the roster competive again. Peyto Manning nor Matt Flynn is gonna save this franchise. Relax! Too many of you guys want to sign every guy, or have some preconception that the dolphins are going to the superbowl.

This team needs to starrt over. We definately needed to flop this year with the 2 great qb's coming out. But it didn"t happen! So live with it! We need to draft a qb as soon a possible, or when the value is there. ie. blackmon, richardson, or claibourne is gone. This management knows this so don"t worry, it will happen.

They lowballed Matt Flynne because there is no certainty with this guy. Yes, he could be great or he could be a flop.I thinkl Matt is great, but he needs to earn the money before he gets paid. I think the dolphins are playing that angle.

I got to be honest, I was ready to ditch the dolphins for some other team to cheer for but i'm holding the faith in these guys, but everyone knows this team needs to draft a qb with there first round pick if they ever want to get out of their problems. As people have noticed on these forums, good teams don"t need free agents! This isn't a mediafest on who are the "winners and loser" of free agency.

I have a good feeling on Philbin, and a little with Ireland, and I am finally realizing that Brandon Marshall isn't worth the headache.(even though I have the Jersey) or his amazing talent. Good teams don't need headaches, or to over pay for free agents. This team needs to flop. Unless your winning the superbowl, who remembers you? You would barely remember the superbowl losers, if it wasn;t for superbowl re-runs!

Worry less about free agent signings and more about drafting a franchise Qb, why do you think the ownwer was chasing Peyton? Because he knows we don't cut it at that position! Kudos for him trying to get the guy, but it didn't happen because we are not Superbowl ready.Give Flynn a shot for a couple of years and draft a quarterback when you pick in the top ten. If Flynn works out, then you trade Flynn for a ransom and let a guy like Tannehill take his place!

We need to quit liviving in a pipedream-media frenzy and live in a reality, that this team is rebuilding, and you need to have patiants for this team. Do you honestly think we are knocking out the Partriots for a playoff spot in the next two years? Manning was our only shot for that, and even then, statistics prove old qb's, hall of famer's or not, don't farewell at 36 or older. Yeah, you probably would get 2-3 good years out of him, but then what?

Have faith, but take a pill, the dolphins need to be the tortoise, not the haire, I'm sticking with them because I have been a fan for song long, and I think even though I love this team, and love this site, and the opinions of everyone on this forum, some of you guys need to get realistic about this team!

Go Dolphins!

Go Dolphins!

Ireland is not just young and not that good, his mistakes and stupid mouth have now created a reputation around the league that says STAY THE F AWAY! Teams like the Patriots who have a great reputation from top to bottom sign great players for much less money, while we have to over pay if we can even get them to come and talk to us. When we do, we low ball the crap out of them. It is complete BS and it is pissing me off!

Good post, with the exception of dumping the fins and rooting elsewhere. Aqua and orange 24/7.

We only know what the media says about fins/Ireland and we all know they never have anything good to say. I like Ireland and thought he did well last year as his first real free agency and draft. Don't believe all this media bull**** or twist it any other way. Truth is we don't know what we will be or will look like till the season ends. I look forward to a super competitive team we will have on the field this year. Let's just stay positive and let the year play out and never stop supporting our Dolphins even if you disagree with the staff or players. Take Care.

Like we were after the first couple games last year. We lost so many games by 3 or less points and I expect with an upgrade at QB (Flynn, smith, hasselbeck or tannehill) more of those loses will be wins. Our D should be top 5, our running game should be top 10 and now it's on a better QB than Moore to make our receivers better like when Flynn threw 3 td's and over 150 yards to jordy Nelson last year in one game. Watch out for to blow up, the guy made some unbelievable plays last year but my gut is we still do not have our #1WR YET. Luckily this draft is WR DEEEEEEEP! Let's stay positive and let the system play it's course. Go Fins!

Hartline* will blow up

Is that a good thing or a bad thing..?

I think he brings 60 rec/700 yards to the table as a #3..with a couple of big plays.

We will need a true #1 receiver, and another receiver with speed to compete with the #2.

The thought of starting the year with Hartline as our #1 receiver is cause for great alarm.

Just another case for Flynn(your first choice in order) to Miami. He is not in demand in the league. It is because he is an ordinary QB. The particulars a have already been covered in many threads. Alex Smith is intriguing, he was the first pick several years ago. Hasselback is old, and Tannehill is not worth a #8 selection. IMHO, bring in Smith to compete if the price is right. Draft some play makers, especially WR's.
The defense lost several of those games..the Denver collapse, the New England game, Dallas, and others. To put the blame on the QB alone is simplistic. It took half the season for the defense to get going, and it was only after Sparano gave Bowles the job of calling defensive signals, did they start playing up to potential.
Bowles deserves a lot of credit for the wins last year.

Well not to be pro or con but the FO has to take responsibility for the state of the Miami Dolphins.....

IMO, excepting mediocrity will make your life less stressful............

Dolphins are turning more into a 3 ring circus than a NFL team.......When will it change ?

YOU WANT ME TO LIE ? OR DO YOU WANT THE TRUTH ? TRUTH , OK< , until we all quit going to the games and supporting the circus , we need to let Ross know we all are not happy, we need to stay away from the stadium , find something else to do with our money.

Hartline is our #1, unless you want to throw in whatever rookies we draft...because #1's are so easy to find in the draft.

By the way, Lloyd to Pats 3 years/12 million...Mario Manningham to 49ers in case anyone was thinking we might sign one of them for the gaping hole left after Marshall left. But Marshall wasn't a nice guy, so our team is better without him....lol
