the Stupidest thing done after a miami loss .

Two years ago when New England beat us on that 80+ yard TD pass in overtime, I spiked the remote control and broke it into every piece. I spent the entire second half of the doubleheader cruising around northwest Austin and Round Rock searching for a remote that was compatible with both my TV and my DirecTV receiver.

Damn dude I forgot all about that game man, I was like more sad than I was mad...I almost cried.

ur obviously no R Roby--else it would have been in next street :)

Pfft. I am a regular Matt Turk, to be fair I have a really big yard and had a pretty heavy cat. Oh yeah, last year I was at work delivering pizzas when the Dolphins played the Jets the first time. I was listening on WQAM and when Jay Fiedler sealed the game by pitching the ball to noone. It feels like it was yesterday, Maditch used one of his classic lines, "This defeat reeks of cow manure", I was so irate I was not paying attention to the road, went 50 over a speed bump and two salads, 25 chicken wings and my cell phone went flying out the passenger side window.

Ohhh hey I know Westminster really well....my g/f's mom lived over there by where they make the Jolly Ranchers. Where do you watch the games at in the Denver area?

I moved down to highlands Ranch and now that I have sunday ticket I watch from home because it just got too tough to go to a bar around here and ask if they could turn on the dolphin game without getting laughed at so I now scream and yell in the privacy of my own home...

Man, I remember back in the fall of "92" Dolphins VS. Colts and I was watching the game at my girlfriends apartment close to the Florida State univ. campus. Short of the story...........we lose a tight one at the end of the game. I'm about to blow a gasket so I open the door and head to the pool at the end of the parking lot and dive in fully clothed nice sneakers included. I just floated on my back looking at the darkening sky thinking to myself why do I LOVE this team so much and thank God I'm in Tallahassee because if I were home (Connecticut) this pool incident could have been problematic!!!!!!
Peace..............................................................

P.S. It's good to be here!!!!!!!!:)

Was that the game where Marino threw a interception at the end to Steve Emtman and he ran like 80 yards for the TD?

The details are a little shaky, but I vaguely remember Mr. Emtman lumbering in the opposite direction with my hopes in his hands and ruining my week. I don't know, perhaps the tough losses are stringing together like a nightmare you just can't wake up from.

Peace..........................

Why is it that with each game u guys recall I instantly know where I was and what i did after the loss too. Anyone else feel the same?

OK but here's mine, not sure what year it was but it was a Monday night game in San Diego and two of my younger cousins and a friend and I went to SD to see the phins win. Well we prepared some 7UP's so we could shake em after the game in celebration in the streets. Well the Phins lost and when we got back to the car we still wanted to celebrate after traveling all the way from Los Angeles to San Diego. So I pop out the 7UP throw it up in the air and hard as I can and gravity has a funny way of bringing down loaded 2 Liter bottles. But this one bonked me in the .....u know! Wowzers was I laid out for a bit by the blast of a 2Liter bottle of 7UP. My cousins and friend were quite concerned with laughter but I lived and managed to have kids too so a happy ending!

After the Dolphins lost that game in OTto New England on the 80 yard pass cuz olindo finkle missed 2 fg's that would've sealed the game, I snapped this skateboard my ex gave me as a gift (we were together at the time) in half, then to her horror i embedded one of the halves into my wall. I was living at home at the time so i pulled the skateboard out of the wall and told my mom it happened playing ping pong. My ex was pissed but i didn't care for a few hours

We have a great bar here in the Springs called Kelly O'Briens and we have about 50-60 Dolphins fans there for every game...I also go to a bar a mile from my house....it is a Steelers bar but they have great food and show every game...if you are ever in Colo Springs those are the places to go.
