I understand all of the people against "Sucking for Luck" I was totally against it too, till last week. The Dolphins clearly showed they were the better team, but still lost. If we cant beat the Browns when we basically gave our best effort what makes you think we can beat the Chargers? and as much as it hurts to say, or the Jets? were possibly looking at an 0-5 start and in the division were in, where the Bills are undefeated! theres no way were making the playoffs imo. I know none of us fans like watching our team loose but would you rather go through one more loosing season and draft Luck who can possibly become a legend or win 5 to 6 games and miss out on the greatest QB to come out of the draft in years? Ill go with the first choice but again thats my opinion. We need a franchise QB and with Luck we will be set, atleast for now. We need a SEXY named coach like Cowher, Gruden, etc. and a new GM, ANYONE will do lol and last but deffinately not least ALOT of help on the O-Line which can be improved in the 2nd round of the draft and free agency, theres a few more BIG holes that must be improved and we can do that in later rounds of the draft and again free agency. Im still going to watch my Dolphins this season but Im just really looking forward to 2012. It hurts to say but "Suck for Luck".
 
I think you can root FOR your team but still be pleased that for once, their ineptitude might be rewarded. For those of us who have long suffered with this team, having a bright side to the long line of front office and head coaching failure is....at least something.

I'd rather have the Phins go 13-3 with Henne blossoming, because I do want them to win every game, regardless of who's in the jerseys or who's on the sidelines. But I know it's not going to happen, and at least the losses might bring some success as well. I don't think that's the same as actually rooting against or hoping they'll lose. If anything, it allows me to take each loss a little less hard.

It's weird, part of me is hoping the Phins draft Luck and he becomes a total bust. Kind of like a HAHA you all were wrong.
 
i guess im in the S4L crowd, but ill be damned if im not cheering my *** off for those 2 wins against those green guys from New Jersey.

I get the sentiment of what you're saying, but when you'd rather see pie in the face of complete strangers on a message board than your team succeed it's time to step away from said message board. Just sayin.... :idk:

How do you figure? 0-3 in a division where the Buffalo Bills are 3-0. Then we lose to the browns? Now I know you're kidding. If this team has shown you something that leads you to believe they can right this ship, please point it out.
 
The bottom line for me is, I have more faith in Andrew Luck as a potential franchise quarterback in the NFL than I do in Tony Sparano ever being an NFL head coach that isn't a complete embarrassment or liability... much less an asset.

Same goes for Jeff Ireland..

I'll take my chances with Andrew Luck and a coach like Jeff Fisher over these imbeciles.

I'm convinced Chad Henne, Tony Sparano, and Jeff Ireland aren't the answer, and never will be. Whoever gets Andrew Luck has a puncher's chance. It might as well be this triad of incompetence that puts Miami in position to accomplish it.
