The "Suck4Luck" Divide - An Available New Graphic

I can't go against the Phins. 3 games into the season, we don't need to root against this team. They will end up with a high draft pick regardless IMO. No need to hope we lose out. It would be so much fun to watch this team click on all cylinders against a damaged Chargers team.

Early scouting report.

Luck can go both ways for us.

Dude can tackle too.

I don't advocate losing but i'd love to see him in a Fins uniform.

How do you figure? 0-3 in a division where the Buffalo Bills are 3-0. Then we lose to the browns? Now I know you're kidding. If this team has shown you something that leads you to believe they can right this ship, please point it out.

One week at a time man, one week at a time. Don't worry, if they keep losing, then I'll look forward to the draft and potentially a franchise guy in Luck or Barkley. I'm not openly rooting against the Fins after 4 weeks. If they are bad as everyone thinks they are, they don't need me rooting against them to prove that. They will do that on their own.

I don't quite get how any fan of a team can root against their team for a player who may or may not turn out to be a good player. We only get 16 reg season games a year and if we are lucky get to see a few more postseason games, good organizations can find talent anywhere in the draft.

Exactly. I could not have said any better myself.

Further, I'd like to know where its carved in stone that Luck will be the next Marino or Peyton or Brady or Aikman or Jim Kelly, etc...?

You see that tackle luck makes in that film?
im convinced he could be a linebacker if he wanted too
dude has nfl skills for sure

i used to think the same way, that it's impossible to root against this team. however, realizing a bunch of monkeys could run this franchise more successfully made that easier

There also are some other very good QB's available in the draft.

That guy from Baylor has more touchdown passes than INCOMPETES this year.

Whom ever we draft with the 1st pick we need to go O line in picks 2 , 3 and maybe 4 or he will get killed behind our O line.

We waste too many "high picks" on our O-line. Hell, we got 3 first round picks on that line and they still suck. We have our franchise LT in Long, those guys are hard to come by. Now I would like to see more game changers drafted in the earlier rounds, (QB, ball hawking safety, pass rusher, receiver).

The thing I was thinking is I really hate watching my #1 team loosing, and the last time I enjoyed watching them a real QB was behind the center, however Henne is not the problem, he could end up being a Drew Brees, just not under this garbage coaching staff. The reasons I would not mind we really suck are:
#1 we finally get rid of a coach with no clue on how to adjust at halftime, no clue on how to build a solid OL, and very little character in clapping to players after a stupid plays instead of screaming directly into their heads (Gruden an Cohwer!!!)
#2 having a top #3 pick would instantly land a good Head Coach, knowing he can do lots of good things on his first draft. And I do want a good HC.
#3 It is like when you watch a beloved one doing something wrong, sometimes you just hope he gets a lesson before it goes worst, I think the lesson to the organization is that if you GM, HC and players can't get it done you are not selling tickets, and this is a business, so take care of it before it chokes!!!

Your correct. I was just pointing out we had better improve the line or our 1st round QB will get killed back there. A couple free agents and a pick or two might do it.

i agree, i just can not root against the dolphins. like you said, its not in your blood, its also not in my blood.

despite how pissed i am after we lose, especially after this weeks browns game and feeling that we r done, right now, because i am a incredible fool, im still looking for ways we can get back into this thing, and first off by beating the chargers.

if we get to like 0-5, 0-6, then i wont actually sit on my couch and root for the fins to lose, but i will not get worked up at all about a loss then, and ill start to look at the positives.

right now, though, i just cant, no matter how hard i try, no matter how well it could work out for the team in the future.

I think that speaks for the silent majority who know it would be good to pick high in the draft but can not and will not root for a lose no matter how naive that is.

That does not make us better fans. But it's just not in our nature.
