Just curious...where do you guys feel we rank amongst ourselves? Basically, what positional area of the team is strongest, weakest and everything in between?
I just love the foundation and the areas we started to address already. We started in the trenches and that is the best place to start. We overhauled te worst ST's players in the NFL last year and replaced with with people that starred for their former teams in that role to help Ginn out whom faired pretty well with those losers we feilded last year for ST's. We also addressed the QB position, TE, LB' and WR positions. The secondary is the only thing we didn't address that much. As far as where are we strong and where we are weak no one knows. We will have to wait and see how these new players and our hold-overs play in our new scheme. So people may struggle for one team and star for another but BP and co apparently only signed players they knew were their kind.
You have to factor Ted Ginn's likely improvement into that equation (or I should say, expected improvement). Say what you want about the guy, but you have to count on the #9 pick of a year ago to be a pretty good player. So we'll see.
We signed Wilford and Kirkus and signed 2 UFA's in Devon Bess and Jayson Foster whom both had very impressive collegiate careers to give Ginn, Hagan, and Camarillo competition. Wilford, Ginn, Hagan, and Camarillo all have a great shot of having break out years IMO and who knows what the other 3 will bring. Competition only helps.I dont think we really addressed WR we basically just replaced Booker but we are much worse at receiver than we were at the beginning of last year.

Calling those guys scrubs? You know nothing of them and you guys beloved Chambers lead the league in drops almost every single year. Wilford has great hands and one of the lowest drop ratios in the NFL and Booker is on the decline. I will take our new young WR's over mr. Drops and an old Booker anyday. Dissing kids before you know anything about them or how we will develope and use them is just wrong. BTW you could also figure in Fasano as a receiver as well because he is better than any TE we have had in decades.
Honestly I think our biggest strength right now is our Front Office. I know that really isnt an answer but I think it will lend itself to making the entirety of the team better....if I had to name a part of the on field team it would be special teamsJust curious...where do you guys feel we rank amongst ourselves?
