Did anyone notice the TEs?
Can we go ahead and terminate the contract of JC?
Why did it take so long to bring in TEs that contributed immediaetly?

Definitely need to keep these guys on the field... both of them... Gray and Jones.

Because of draft status & contract status, some players are handed starting roles, and given way too many chances.

The GM / front office doesn't want to admit they made a mistake, and doesn't want the owner to think they're wasting money & draft picks.

Dallas Thomas, Billy Turner, Jamil Douglas, Daniel Thomas, Jordan Cameron.

In 2012, WR Legedu Naanee was actually a day one starter, largely because of contract status.

Hell yes! I just posted something in "Hoops Scoops" on this. They did great today...both blocking and catching. And, it was just one guy. I think Sims, Jones, and Grey ALL got involved. Jordan can just pack his bags as far as I'm concerned...

Cameron was actually starting to perform before he got hurt. These guys did a good job today. Cameron may not be taking the field again due to his concussion issues.

I love Gray, and I like Jones.....big boys....nothing fancy, just football players.....not "cute" type players the Fins usually go after.

TE is a lunch pail position.

Blocking is primary job and pass catching secondary.
The group performed well today.
Cut Cameron.

legadoodle do naneeee? I must have blanked that out. All I recall about that guy is a fellow poster saying his name sounded like a character from Star Wars.

I defended JC last year. Now I just believe his 1 good year in Cleveland was an anomaly.

Sims is a big boy too. He's a good blocker as well.

Gray looked great. A real weapon for us. Actually he looked like Charles clay out there. The whole team showed up finally.

Edit: gray was the one that caught the td that was called back on the illegal formation right?

The blocking was what impressed me. We haven't seen more of Gray because he hasn't been completely healthy. Jones had a couple of drops in preseason, but he also was our most productive TE in those four games too. I'm glad he was still out on the street when Cameron went down. He's a solid depth option at TE. I just hope Sims concussion isnt too severe. His blocking has been terrific.

Really happy to see Jones back on the squad, had a solid preseason and is a move the chains type player nothing fancy. I love how we look with multiple TE packages, are we running, play action, throwing vertical? We look so much better playing like that.

Wait ... what? Sims suffered a concussion today? Dang if that's true that's his second. He had one opening game last season.
