All his succesful acquisitions to date simply don't matter (Bush, Wake, Pouncey, Long etc.) nor do his failures (white, Wilson, Columbo, failure to solidify the O-line etc.). Simply put he must fix the QB position. He has clearly failed there for 4 years. Because Ross believes in him he has another opportunity. Bottom line his success will depend directly on whether Matt Moore develops into a long term solution and/or he drafts a QB this year that shows promise. Collaterally whether Matt Flynn does well or not will add to his success/failure. In other words, if Matt Moore is average or worse and there is no rookie in place that is promising THIS YEAR he should be gone. I hope Matt Moore plays well but I am not optimistic. While he put up good numbers (mostly ealy in games) he was not an very good 4th quarter quarterback which is when you need your QB to step up. Hopefully, that will change.
