Watching the 2nd half of the Texas game i was thinking Miami really wasn't a team that "deserved" the trust of having an on/off switch. Contrary, we have seen this team time after time play poor when there was no legitimate reason. I think it was a massive mistake to coast through the second half, this game just proves our players don't have the drive to be a very good team. I know new England in New England is a tough game, but that game was full of little mistakes that clearly separate a good team from a bad one.

Man I so looked forward to this game...what a downer!

That was a coaching decision. So blame the coaches. Didn't we also take it easy in practice?

I brought this up on Sunday afternoon after the game and received a bunch if dislikes from a bunch of millennials who don't understand how the game works. Resting some of the starters was fine. However, going into prevent mode on defense and using a vanilla, run the clock out offense was a huge mistake. I thought it might carry over into this game and it did. Getting into a nice rhythm isn't always an easy thing to do. Once you get in sync and find your rhythm, you need to keep playing the same way. As you said, you can't turn it on and off like a switch. Teams often run in streaks. The Dolphins were on a great streak on both sides of the ball and then took themselves out of it.

Thought we needed all the momentum we could get going into foxborough , people thought otherwise.
