In a year of turmoil in the world of sports, much like the world at large, there are some individuals who need to be recognized for their "contributions". As my late Grandmother used to say, or someone anyway, "even the worst scoundrels are good for something even if it's only as a bad example". And here are some of the worst of the worst in the world of sports for the late year 2007:

I get what Owens said and I think it was legit. Gomer Phillips is not a good coach. He'll win games because of talent, though in the playoffs when I believe coaching matters more he's just awful. I don't believe the Cowboys lost because of him which will contradict myself. Though I think the Giants are the most talented team in the NFC. McCarthy vs Coughlin is an interesting matchup. It'll be put as Manning vs Favre; but I see it as Grant vs Jacobs/Bradshaw.
