Hah very funny. I'm just thinking to myself how many teams could benefit if we didint have that week 6 crap going on. I'm sure Dallas could use Beck right about now and we could use the draft picks.

i think it should be up until week 8 but the NFL has deemed it week 6 and I guarantee you Dallas would still not send a draft pick for John Beck. There are some legitimate backups that they would be looking at that would serve them better.

the main season for having a trade deadline is keeping things fair. You dont want a team that makes a late run at the playoffs to suddenly trade for ten starters in week 16 to gamble on a trip to the superbowl. It unbalances the league.

No one can trade for 10 starters buddy. Not even in the offseason. We have salary caps in this league.
