I am now truly convinced the trifecta has set out to win this division. I think the trifecta's offseason focus was always set on being able to beat our divsion opponents. Call it what you want but we are scoring 30+ points on divsion opponents.

This offseason they focused on bringing in a center who is able to help contain the big DT's in our divsion (Wilfork,Jenkins), and so far it has worked. They brought in a big CB specifically to shut down the big WR's in our divsion (TO, Moss)

We will be ready when it comes to playing New England. This won't be an easy game and you can bet we won't go down without putting up a fight. I think this is exactly what the trifecta was preparing for.

Don't be surprised if we sweep our division and then let the rest of the chips fall where they may.

Well, we'll see how it goes against the Pats. How sweet would it be to win the division for the second straight year and knock the Jets and Pats out of the playoffs? Again.

This is definitely a must win. Which is kinda funny cuz we've been saying that the last 4 weeks. We have an opportunity to get to 4-4 and knock the Pats down to 5-3. One game back then. and 4-0 in the division. The Pats are coming off of a bye week, so they've had extra time to prepare. But we are coming off of a huge win in the meadowlands, so who has the advantage? I know the running game will have to be a whole lot better this week if we want to have a shot. The defense too. But luckily, Bradys kryptonite (Taylor) is really coming on rhe last couple weeks. We need BIG games from him and JPeezy.

Taylor is to New England what Ginn has been to gag green. We are going to beat the Patriots and people will realize those nasty jests are actually a pretty solid veteran team, and it was a big accomplishment to sweep them. The Patriots are going to be the team that gets exposed- that team from Miami is for real.

I'm hoping with the 3 weeks off the pats got, miami will shock them when they punch them in the mouth.

Nice that your so overly positive
but I'm not drinking the cool aid yet

This is definitely a must win.

I don't consider it a 'must-win' although it certainly would be a huge boost to get the upset. I don't think we absolutely have to sweep the Pats to have a chance, and if splitting with them could turn out OK, then it's not critical that we win ours now instead of later, in Miami.

The schedule gets much less daunting after this week.

that is the way Parcells works, he builds his teams to match up against the division and goes from there....that is why he started building the team with the OL and DL. The next draft he went out and got some big corners who can run, next yr he will get the TE and OLB, that is why I dont think you will see him use a high pick on a WR, he might pick up a WR in FA but he wont be the top guy on the street.
