This dude played terrific.

He had over 300 yards passing 2 passing Td's

and 66 yards rushing.

He has beaten Michigan twice and his helped the Buckeyes win this game.
He was totally clutch on the 3rd downs in the game.

Time to give him his props.

He is a hell of a college qb but Heisman? I don't think so. Crazier things have happened. In the next year or two OSU's offenses should be based around the second coming of Adrian Peterson, Chris Wells.

Oh and comeon, you were impressed by Quinn tonight? I know he had about 3 dropped passes, but once the OSU defense figured out what was coming he looked lost, held on to the ball too long, just didn't play smart football. He has the tools though, no doubt about it, but he is going to really need to shake some product of the system doubt off of himself next year by playing damn good football.

I KNEW this was coming, he played great all season and the second they lost this game I knew there'd be threads on here about how Quinn isn't all he cracked up to be. He had ONE bad game, that wasn't even THAT bad. Everyone's precious Leinart has played worse than that more times this season and everyone is still all high on him. QBs have bad games, I'd rather see Quinn struggle against a top ranked D than against a crappy team like. Again, he didn't even play that bad. Had that EP not been missed and the LONG TD run given up at the very end they had a good chance.

Oh my god do I have to remind you people of a certain running back from the University of Oklahoma

I've seen him about 3 other times this year and have never been that impressed. He finally got pressured and couldn't deliever, but neither could anyone else other than Walker it seemed. Anyway, I think he has alot of potential, but what I was arguing is that he should not be thrown out there under the lable "heisman" just yet.
And the game didn't even look as close as the score. Barring the first drive, OSU's defense dominated the game, Smith was on fire, and the recievers seemed to be able to get open at will. Couple that with many calls in OSU's favor I think the 'rish had been soundly beaten.
Also I'm not really hot on any QB right now, so get that Leinart stuff outta here.

Where was he this year? I heard his name like once after hearing it a billion times his freshman season? Was he hurt or not doing as good or was it because the Sooners were losing?

That was a great performance!I love OSU.You think Smith will make a great QB in the NFL?My dad doesn't think he can play at pro level.

The Leinart stuff wasn't really directed at you in particular, neither was the weight of my post actually, I just basically responded to you because you said the Quinn stuff first, I just knew, given the way a lot of people on here are (again, not you in particular) that they'd chage their mind about Brady even though up util this game he was the messiah. My point is every QB has some bad games/makes mistakes that make everyone go "WTF?", there isn't a single QB EVER who has been 100% perfect.

Next year will be the Brady Quinn Heisman year.
Its the same creature as the draft Adrian McPherson in the 3rd beast....it will fall away soon enough. And no one will come back to say they were wrong.
