Sparano has shown that if u show up in practice, you'll be high on the depth chart and get playing time... In principle, its a great method of coaching. However it doesnt work out in the Fins case.
For example, a guy like Derek Hagan who has been hot in training camp definitely isn't showing much in the 4 preseason games..Especially this last game vs. the Saints.. Two big drops...
Contrary to Hagan and his great TC, is Ernest Wilford who has had a disastrous TC so as a coach would do, dropped him way down the depth chart.
But the truth is I see Wilford getting the start opposite Ginn. Wilford will never get you 1,000 yards, but he'll consistently get you first down and he's a great situational player. Ginn is the speedydeep threat and Wilford is the cluth 3rd down possession guy. And with a smart QB like Pennington throwing the ball, its all a match made in heaven. I also see Bess as our slot guy so I do see Hagan slipping down the depth chart battling with Camarillo, the special teams gunner.
