the Tuna is on sirius now

Someone has to fill us in if he gives out any clues about what hes going to do in the free agency or draft.

- Wayne wanted him to stay for 2 drafts

- plans to have 18 new players

- we will have a better team but be hard-pressed to win 11

- commented on Haley and Pioli

- Sparano did all the coaching

I guess I missed the Phin stuff

Interesting,

I too think this will be the case. I know we have a long way until September but i find it hard to believe that this team can match 11 wins or even more next year. The schedule on paper is MUCH more difficult than this years, and while improvements will certainly be made we are going to have to have a pretty flawless off-season in order to be a team that will only lose 5 games or less next year.

I think we'll be a better team, but may only win maybe 9 games or so.

I'm guessing 18 of 53 roster spots are up for bid.

Last seasonit was 26 players who lost thier spots. This year we are looking at 18. So Basically I guess BP is saying he fixed 8 postions last season and we are making progress. Hopefully next season we will be down to 10 spots up for grabs.

I sense a 5 or 6 win season because if i have low expectatins then we will overacheive again and then we might get to the super bowl.

Is this his last year for sure then, it is his 2nd year?

It's not for certain or anything, but yeah, i'd start getting in the mentality that he's gone after this year. (Maybe even after this draft)

I think Bill should give up on anymore reclaimation projects. He's already a success at turning teams around. A real challenge would be to stick around for the next 10 years and build a dynasty.
