Yeah, I get. Like half of us wouldn't cut our left nut to be "the first loser". Hell, even for a playoff berth.
It's petty and ridiculous to belittle a season that ended in a very close SuperBowl loss. Arizona wasn't "decent" that season - they dominated so throughly (and not just within their division) that they even got to take the second half of the season off. Check the stats, tapes, whatever: Arizona before week 11 was an offensive juggernaut, then turned it off until the playoffs rolled around, when they stomped through everyone again. Pittsburgh stopped them, but just barely (if Fitzgerald takes a knee in the one, there's no way they lose that game, even needing a TD to win).
Furthermore, what the hell does the overall record of Arizona has to do with Dansby's personal ability? And even worse - what does Dansby's ability has to do with his argument? He could personally suck and his point remains just as strong, we don't know nothing about what's going to happen when the regular season comes. We certainly don't know more than them about what's going on in camp.
Way too many holes to poke in that criticism.
