OC Bill Lazor called a great game, atoning for last week's debacle. That was a well-called game. Let's hope this continues.

Lazor was like a kid in candy store today calling plays against the Raider defense. I wouldn't be surprised if he needed to change his pants after the game. :chuckle:

The double reverse was awful, awful, awful.

But you notice what he used today? Play action from under center with the QB rolling out to his right. Ryan Tannehill is good at that. It's infuriating that Sherman rarely called that sort of play, and that Lazor hadn't really done so until today. Hopefully Bill will realize that it works and stick with it.

Every OC calls a great game when the QB executes.

When the QB plays like dog****, the play calls are terrible.

I have noticed that trend.

Actually, It would have been a good play if Charles Clay didn't completely whiff his block. Looked like he didn't even try.

Yes and no. He called a good game because we didn't target Wallace only. We need to spread the ball and use all of our receivers. I also don't understand why we threw the ball 3 plays in a row, deep in Raiders territory, with the game already 31-7 won. This didn't hurt, but its a smart use of the time and minimizing injuring our team, specifically Tannehill from unnecessary hits. I wouldn't call Lazor a hero. I give props toTannehill given all the bs throughout the week he played a solid game. Great win. Now lets heal.

Thanks for that analysis. "unsung hero" smh

No he called a great game period lots of short easy wide open throws to get Tanny in rhythm and tons of runs

Lazor has called a good game all season, yes he has had a few bad calls in games but his overall job of calling plays for the first time IMO has been very good this yr.....

Buffalo was pretty poor at least in first half. Otherwise I really can't think of getting mad at playcalling.

I'm shocked people didn't give them **** for the 4th and inches call and Tannehill is in shotgun. The play worked for a TD but if it got stuffed I'd understand the criticism of starting the play 4 yards from the line (shotgun) when you only have inches to go.
