Can anyone explain why we called a timeout before Buffalo's last FG??? If it was a case of trying to ice the kicker, then........ It was a bad call. How many times have you EVER seen that work, they seem to always make the kick when the defense calls a timeout first(In the NFL anyways, it may be easier to ice those college kickers). That extra timeout would have helped out a lot towards the end of the game when we stopped Buffalo 3 straight times, istead of getting the ball with less than 30 seconds, we would have had over a minute. Was this just a rookie coach mistake???

Yep -- in any game where you're down during the 4th quarter, I say save ALL your timeouts for that drive where you need to stop the clock while the other team has the ball. It happens way too often to be using timeouts for some other reason.

We had too many men on the field and would have gotten a penalty called on us (according to the radio). It might have been the only penalty that was not called.

the old make the kicker think about he kick since he has missed 7 in a row from that distance...worked wonders

It seems like any kicker the fins play is money.Kickers just dont miss on us to often.I didnt research or anything it just feels like that when i watch the games.

ill second that seems like they never miss against us

I am sure it was because we had too many on the field. Regardless just another shining example of poor prepardness and execution by our team.Especially i thought our special teams were horrible! bring back ed perry!
