Ok last year i did this, for those who dont know the record for most combined yards in a season is 2,690 rush,rec,kr,pr. by derrick mason anyway welker was on his way to smashing that record until saban pulled him off kr for 2 games he finished around 150-200 short. this year if healthy he will break it!!
he had a good start last night with 220yds! I will update weekly go wes!!
by the way he broke the dolphin record held by ricky:wink:

UPDATE: i have not updated welkers stats in a few weeks but here they are. 335 rec, 442 kr, 148 pr, for a total of 945yards he is on pace for 2,520 170 short of the record.

UPDATE:-11/12- welker had a total of 169 today and that puts him at 1349 total yards for the year, remember the record is 2690 and welker is on pace for 2398 he is not getting big kick return yds becasue we are not giving up points but he is having a great year receving 453yds that would be amazing if he got 1000 for a 3rd wr!

LOL. :D Welker rocks! I can't wait to see him play next Sunday! GO FINS!!
 
I like Welker too! He has heart! But I do re-call many here saying Welker wouldnt make the team or we should rid of him
 
some people bash welker on his kr but they dont understand that it takes 10 other guys doing there job for the welker machine to work.
 
i def have to buy a welker jersey, hes a huge inspiration and gives it 100% on every play
 
He might have a chance to break the record

If the Fins get torched all year, he will have lots of KR opportunities.
 
In my opinion welker is one of our best players. He's always there for the play when it count's the most. I can't believe so many people wanted him gone this season.
 
I didn't understand all the talk about Welker possibly not making it. Made no sense to me. Anybody that's watched him the past 2 years knows what he's done for the team.

Remember 2 years ago we were yelling for Wanny to bench all the QB's and let Welker play that position too? :lol:
 
Welker really impressed me yesteray. I hope they keep him on KR, PR, and in the slot. He seems to have a knack for getting open as a WR.
 
Welker was our best player last night, so why didn't he get more balls his way.
 
249 for wes that gives him 469 for the year! even when we lose i can always cheer for welker! what a hit by the little man today!

That was something special.......
