Hi! My name is David. Im the leader of the "i love the pat white pick" bandwagon. I have come to tell you all that miami will now be an unstoppable force on offense. reason why? The wildcat!
say your on defense. you get a call from the sideline. Then the opposing offense lines up with their quarterback on the sideline. you think you are ready for what is coming. You see ronnie brown at quarterback. then, out of no where he sends his quarterback into motion. hike!! ronnie snaps it and hands it off to pat white. you then swarm to him and that leaves ted ginn jr wide open down the sideline. touchdown!!!
say your on defense. you get a call from the sideline. then the opposing offense lines up with 5 wide recievers. pat white is the quarterback! ronnie brown lines up next to him, then is motioned to wide reciever. that then leaves only 5 people in the box! you can't blitz because, he will then escape and hit a reciever or just run for a big gain.
say your on defense. you get a call from the sideline. then the opposing offense lines up in the wildcat formation with pat white at quarterback. It looks like a regular play. pat white then sends ronnie brown or ricky williams in motion. hike!! he hands it off to ronnie or keeps it and gains 5-10 yards or even more..
say your on defense. you get a call from the sideline. then the opposing offense line up in the wildcat formation. pat white at quarterback! Audible!!! they move into the i-formation. jake long at fullback! hike!!! pat white hands it off to ronnie brown, and jake long hits the first guy coming and ronnie takes it to the house after he gets by maybe one defender, with big guys in front.
say your on defense. you get a call from the sideline. then the opposing offense lines up in i-formation. chad henne at quarterback, ronnie brown at fullback, and pat white at running back. hike!! toss left to pat white!! that leaves ted ginn wide open, touchdown!!!
as you can see... at pick number 44 miami didnt draft a player.. you can't just see pat white as a single position player. pat white is the final piece of the puzzle.think about it! with pat white, miami is now the most lethal offense in the league. you can't be simple minded and think of them as a indianapolis colts type offense.. they are team that has never ending options. its one on one football, and the offense knows what its doing but the defense doesnt have a clue. that means the offense is in control of everything! in the wildcat that takes away a safety! its like putting goaline defense vs the shotgun formation. and to top it off, pat white is left handed! that messes with a defenses head! takes them away from conventional thinking. one on one football and the offense is in control.
don't you people understand that miami just created a formation that can have more impact that the west coast did in the 80's. to top it off, miami has the best player EVER at running the option-running the option.
its over!!!
