No matter how this off season shakes out i am very excited for the direction of our Phins. Our options are RGIII, Matt Flynn, Peyton Manning, Ryan Tannehill. I firmly believe we WILL end up with one of the above and this gets me excited as all get out. Aren't you happy knowing we are going to improve our QB play from the last few years? Matt Moore, worst case scenario, makes a really good back up option. We will improve our line through free agency OR in the draft or both. Our head coach is intelligent and reaches players in a cerebral manner. He is an offensive minded coach that allegedly mentally connects with his QB's. Our D coordinator has been successful in the past and inspires confidence in our defensive future.

Aside from all the discussion and bantering that goes on here can't we all agree we ARE improving as a team???

I am freaking stoked about next season.........LETS GO PHINS!!!!!

I have to admit that this year has a different feel to it. I am optimistic and hopeful that we will celebrating touchdowns and not field goals.

I am waiting to see what happens with our QB situation before I get crazy, but I like the Philbin hire.

Agree that there seems to be a different feel to things this offseason. We dodged a bullet with Fisher (Gregg Williams and Schottenheimer), and I really like what I see and hear from Philbin and like the make-up of the coaching staff.

Obviously time will tell, but right now I really like the direction this team is heading in.

Well I've been a fan since 8 yrs old...been saying this for 30 yrs now.

The fact that my wife agreed to let me go to the superbowl if we EVER make it is like icing on the cake!! Statistically it has to happen before i die!!
I'm not drunk, i promise........not yet anyways (it's only tuesday).

Philbin's demeanor is a welcome change from the fistpumping, Jersey accent, ground and pound approach. Also his staff building shows me that he respects the men he has hired and believes in their ability to coach.

If it ends in "y" I drink on it.

crazy as it may sound, Andrew Luck and Grandpa Weeden are options as well, stranger things have happened!! If RG3 rips it @ his Pro day, watch out!!

The dude has a 70% completion percentage........Holy shiite!!!
If we went ballz out and gave up alot to get him, i still can't say i would be mad about it. As i said earlier, i am having a hard time finding a scenario that i would be mad about.

plain Tanehill is the scenario that I would like the least, that´s the case where immediate contribution would be absent, its ANOTHER project, a consolation for failure to secure every other scenario. Although an un-healthy Manning would be another failure, and I don´t see much of an upgrade from Moore if we got Flynn...I guess I´d be excited with Luck, RG3, or Weeden, not even the highly improbable chance of succes with Manning would excite me!

Yah it's a different feeling right now. I'm very optimistic and hopeful.
