ESPN should be ashamed. Those 3 stooges of announcers were the worst crew I ever heard do a game they were uniformed and just plain ignorant. They also ignored the fact that L. Chester got carted off and had no updates of him and disregarded the fact J. Taylor had reentered the game and made a tackle. Not one time did they say anything that any normal fan wouldn't know. They didn't break down any reasons why the offenses sucked except for to say the offense line is horrible well, no $hit. Summerall is a borderline Alzheimer's patient and Theismann and Maguire seemed to be sleeping through most of the game.

It's more than obvious it's going to be a long season for Dolphin fans. AJ Feeley has a long way to go until he can develop into a good QB and the o-line needs to start playing together and fast. Wade Smith will most likely be benched for D. Mcintosh very soon and I think St. Clair was horrible also. It will take most of the season for our offense to get better. I for one will be a lunatic Dolphin fan even if we go 0-16, but watching last nights game was a very humbling experience for every real Dolphan who bleeds aqua and orange.

Personally, besides the lack of injury reports, I thought they did a decent job.

It was hard to watch, I would have hated to be an announcer and have to do that game.

 I thought Joe and MaGuire were going to start fighting a couple of times....especially when Joe said something about MaGuire's dental bridges.

Other than that bit of excitement, I've never heard a more dull set of announcers. Granted the game wasn't too exciting but, c'mon.....somewhere there is a dug-up grave waiting for Summerall to come back.

I thought Theismann had some EXCELLENT points.... he had acouple good ones

"Lamont... dont drop the ball lamont" ---Theisman before Brightful's punt return.:roflmao:

Theismann wasnt a moron and said our Oline looked horrible, which it was. The other guys, wow, horrible. We should hire them. They would fit in well with this organization.

ESPN has said somewhere that we might be the worst team in the league. All they did last night was bash our offense, and even though it isnt far-fetched to dislike how the offense played, they sweated our defense the most I've ever seen. Always talked about Zach, and Junior, and JT. That being said, I still don't see us being worse then Arizona, or Buffalo.

Detroit is 2-0. Jacksonville is 2-0. Kansas City is 0-2. Chicago won in Green Bay. Denver scored 2 FGs after mugging KC last week. Already a weird season. Oh yeah, we're 0-2 also.

And about Summerall. He shouldn't be allowed to speak. Not about football at least. He's slow, he's a fool, and he's on his deathbed. He has no right to bash anybody in the NFL. Mike Patrick, come back!

1 last thing. Last night the ESPN announcers were just plain bad. Most everything they said was plain and simple NFL talk. My girlfriend and I were watching the game and I predicted half of what they would say. They are usually my favorite announcers, well that was until Pat "Father Death" Summerall was "hired". Yutz

You have to feel bad for Pat, knowing how great of an announcer he once was. Wonder if he`s back on the sauce, as they made some references to Oktoberfest last night, and the three of them being out and about.
I must have missed it somehow, but what happened to Mike Patrick?

The game was bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any announcers would have been bad calling that game. Nothing they could have said would have been good. Two BAD teams playing a BAD game.

I agree. They went to a commercial saying there was an injuried dolphin and then never told us who it was. I was screaming at the TV to let us know who it was and my wife said that the injury must not be too bad otherwise they would have told us about it. Well, Chester is probably out for the year. Nice job, announcers!

I seriously thought Theismann was good. He said everything right after I said it and I agreed with almost everything he said. Is it just me, or is Summerall starting to rot?

Mike Patrick had heart surgery a couple weeks ago. He's recovering and should be back soon. So, it's not entirely ESPN's fault; they were in a bind and wanted an experienced play-by-play man, preferably one that wouldn't upstage Patrick.

And actually, I thought that Theismann was okay; much better than usual. Summerall was beyond awful, obviously.
