Chambers is our #1 guy, Booker is our #2. the competition starts at the #3 spot. Derek Hagan, Kelly Campbell and Wes Welker are all trying to win the #3 spot. I think Hagan will win the #3 spot as he is leading the competition right now. The sleepers to make the team are Vick and Aromashodu. This is how I see the depth chart, but we could easily decide to carry 6 WRs.

Chambers
Booker
Hagan
Welker
Vick

Vick just edges out Campbell and Aromashodu for the final spot. I think Saban will fall in love with all of Vick's abilities. He could throw the ball on a trick play, he can catch the ball and burn a DB with his 4.3 speed and he can return kicks. He is currently looking impressive in camp. Some of you might tear me up because I say Campbell won't make the roster but hear me out. Campbell wasn't even on a team last year and there's a reason for that. yes he is very fast but so is Chamber and Vick and Aromashodu. You need more then just speed

The Reason Campbell wasn't on a team last year was because of his quad injury. Campbell has been one of the most impressive WR at camp so far, plus he has experience with Culpepper and in the return game. I think they will keep 6 WR with Vick and Mash battling for the 6th spot, with the loser going on the practics squad. i like Vick, but the thoughts of him returning kicks and "burning" dbs is all in theory right now. Let's see a couple pre-season games before we jump to conclusions.

For the last time. Marcus Vick runs a 4.5 in the 40, NOT a 4.3!!!! :tantrum:
he ran a 4.3 2 years ago I think he can do it again, some people just have bad combines. Bloom ran a 4.5 at the combine but we all know he's way faster than that

I agree with this line up. Unless Welker beats Aromashadu

That's what I am thinking too ... probably the tie breaker is "best hands", Saban and the coaches will simply break down receptions between Wes and Kelly to see who's catching the ball better. Both guys are undersized with speed - we NEED a reliable possession WR.

I would rather see Aromashodu make the team over Campbell.I no Campbell has alot of upside but hes hurt alot and Welker should be our kr/pr IMO.If we keep 6 we should keep
1.Chambers
2.Booker
3.Hagan
4.Welker
5.Vick
6.Aromashodu
However if we do keep 6 i feel we will keep Campbell and Aromashodu will goto the practise squad.

I think if it could come down to Campbell or Welker.I hope Welker makes it.However i do think that Welker could get cut aswell.

Sadly enuff I think this is where Welker might see his last days in a Dolphin uni simply because of the talent that is now in camp at the WR spot. The only one who he might be able to beat out is Mash but, only because he is a rookie and isn't as polished as the others are.

Its simple the line up is going to be for at least at the beginning off the season
1. Chambers
2. Booker
3. Cambell
4. Hagan
5. Welker
6. Vick

cambell is going to be the 3rd WR at the begining of the season for three reasons. He has experience on the field with culpeper, he's the only proven WR out of all of them we know he can be there and be productive and he's the one that has impresed the most in the offseason. I am sorry to say but i hear all the time that cambell has caught a 50 yard pass from c-pepp but i haven't even heard the name welker or even hagan as much. Maybe by midseason we can see hagan jumping to this 3rd spot but rember he's still a rookie with a lot to prove
