Landry is in. Gibson is out. I want to keep Matthews as a good, cheap 4th option. We have two options to sort out.

Wallace, based on what I've seen is a 50/50 for the team keeping him. Hartline, at a reduced rate, is very likely dependent on the Wallace decision.

For me, I want White or Parker #1 regardless of what we do. For this team, in this draft, a top WR makes the biggest impact for Tannehill and the team. I do not see anyone else in this draft better, and do not see any good, legit options at WR in FA. If need be I would trade up a few spots to get a potential game changer. I would give up a 3rd+ or, "maybe" even Wallace with our first pick to move up.

IF Wallace is kept this year, he will be gone next year. Then what? I take care of WR now, when we have the chance to do so.

That makes too much sense so I guess it won't happen. I totally want a WR at 14...,we need playmakers

When you have top talent/BPA's at a skill position, while filling a Big need, and saving about $10M a year in cap space, you have to GO FOR IT.

as much as I would like to take White i dont think we will. I think we take a LB cause Wheeler and Ellerbee are not getting it done. here is who I would like to see drafted in the 1st round

Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi St. (6'5" 250) ~
Guys with the size that McKinney has seldom have accompanying top-level skill and speed to match. McKinney is a tackling machine and should be poised to move up draft boards once teams have the chance to see him in person. He would give a boost to a Dolphins defense that finished 24th against the run in 2014.

the problem is who will be there at #14... If Kevin White is there I wouldnt mind taking him at 14... definitely wouldnt complain :que:

but if its a guy like Devante Parker, Sammie Coates, Jaelen Strong.... I am definitely passing!!!

if we take a WR, I want a big strong one who is going to fight for that ball in the redzone. If we can't land seam threat monster TE, lets get a monster WR for once. Give Tannehill a new blankie.

It's pretty funny how we're sitting here talking about bringing in diffrent receivers, when the Dolphins receiving core is arguably more talented than either of this years Super Bowl representatives.

The Dolphins have bigger issues than the receivers.

totally agree here... i've been saying that as well. yet it would be nice to improve upon it, especially with whom we are going to lose, or may lose.

Better than Seattle's, but I'd roll with Patriots receiving corps and Gronk any day of the week over Hamster Wallace and YAC-deficient Hartline.

Gibson is gone, Wallace or Hartline are likely to be gone. Where does that leave us, and Tannehill?

I have no problem with the original poster. However, I would add that our free agency must address 2 spots: DT and Guard. Assuming Turner is able to step in next year we should be able to have an above average line.

Assuming we select an impact WR in the first, our 2nd and 3rd must address LB and CB positions. The rest of the draft is filler for backup positions such as a swing tackle, special teams, and a strong RB for short yardage.

I'm guessing the Seahawks wouldn't have minded having WRs that could get open early in the game to take full advantage of turnovers or a WR who could overpower a smaller CB on the goal line...

WR is being discussed because it's both a need area and a likely BPA at #14. Why pass on that if it's there? What bigger needs can be addressed there with a BPA? Certainly not OG. Not MLB. Not a scheme-fit CB. DT is about the only thing I can think of. Maybe S.

So yes, legitimate reasons for discussing it, particularly when our biggest need on the unit is exactly what is available in this draft: Big-bodied WRs who can fight for the ball and be legitimate redzone targets, which we clearly need with our godawful redzone efficiency.

Gibson is gone, Wallace or Hartline are likely to be gone. Where does that leave us, and Tannehill?

It leaves us creating holes when it's not necessary, and using the few resources we have re-filling those very holes, only to neglect real holes like linebacker. Typical Dolphins.

For some reason, I can't thank your post, so here you go.

There are no CB's I want in this draft, and there are good options in FA. MLB is a question on both fronts.
