I would like to elaborate on the future potential of Abraham Wright....I know that I reported that he was knocked around a little earlier today, but you best beleive that he got right up!

The double-fpalmed chest pop of Alibi's that sent him to the ground was more of a testament to Alibi's strength as opposed to Wright's not being suited for the position....He played in the Big Twelve, so I highly doubt that these were his first reps coming off the edge against 300+ pounders by any means at all.

The situations that he played under were both run and pass plays...To be fair about my reporting of the camp progress, I also saw Wright flying around the corner with pretty impressive quickness and body lean on a couple of pass plays...In fact, one of those plays was against Alibi...Wright beat him "to" and "around" the corner so fast that he had no choice but to hold him....In "any" NFL game the flag would've smacked Anthony against the helmet!...It was just that obvious!

So I, at least, will refrain from thinking that this guy will not develop into a real threat in the pass rush portion of our defense...This guy is cat quick with quick hands and an exceptional motor....he just has to learn the rules of the NFL "pass rush" game.

If you disagree with my observations....your opinion is both noted and respected! However, I think Abraham along with Kelvin Smith will prove to be solid additions to this defense as special teamers 1st....special players 2nd!

Go Phins!

Wrong Wright. I thought this thread was about Rodrique Wright who has been impressing people with his cat quick moves.

Hopefully the right Wright can contribute to the special teams where quickness is highly appreciated.:)

Two Wrights, don't make a wrong!

Same here, I thought it was Rodrique, from Texas...I wanna know more about how that beast is doing!! Hope he is contributing sooner rather than later!

Abraham Wright is going to HAVE to put on at least 15-25 pounds between now and next season. This year he will be a special teams player but if he can add that weight and stay about as quick, he is going to be a force, and will find a home as a DE!
