I'm skeptical on the thought he is camp fodder or looking to fill in for an injured Moore. It looks like to me the staff decided after Tannehills progress thus far Moore and his contract were disposable. I further believe some of the already dire QB situations teams are in around the league mean they might see him as a trade commodity with a fast expiring time table, I believe we will see him moved to a team like the Texans/Titans/Bills/Jets in the next few days.

Any other thoughts?

Just in case the Michael Vick experiment fails in NYJ. We will block the Jets from acquiring him.

I think it has to do with Moore injured shoulder and they need a guy that can take some reps. Moore if dinged at all when preseason is over will probably be released. If short term than Quinn is just here for audition but the guys they brought in were backup types so it may be the backup gig

Camp arm and gets cut after the last cut. Might re-sign after Week One if he is any good in the next few weeks.

My theory is that Devlin and/or Moore aren't picking up the new offense fast enough.

Theory? I say this is a strong indication the Germans are going to bomb Pearl Harbor once again. What say you Goon Boss?

So you bring in Brady Quinn.. I'd rather give Josh Freeman a shot over Brady any day.. JMO

They would never replace Tannehill with Brady Quinn (aside form injury this year) at this point in his career.

I never thought anyone would replace Tannehill, just the opposite. I think getting ready to move Moore means they are 100% sure Tannehill will be all they need.
