There are still two paths to the playoffs.

I am sooooooo tired of the refs handing the pats games late. It is just out of control

No wonder everyone on this planet outside of New England and the nfl hates the pats. They somehow get EVERY ****ing game changing call.

What if the Bengals lose two, ravens win out? Ravens win division bengals lose head to head to Miami we're in bengals out right

Totally unrelated but...this is a bad-ass uniform combo...loved seeing them wear this...PLUS - it's a bad-ass TE wearing it, that we are seeing develop right before our eyes...

I gave you a 'Thanks' simply for posting this pic...

ravens open 5.5 underdogs vs detroit

detroit NEEDS that game really bad which is good for us!
basically a detroit win and a miami win this week guarantees us a playoff birth
best of all we can watch the lions ravens game 830pm
no way we lose to the bills or jets!!!!!!! so this is it week 15 cant come soon enough

If the bengals win one game they will clinch the division thus making the last game against the ravens irrelevant and ravens will win. so we need to win out and have the ravens lose one of the next two.

Not true. Bengals are fighting for the number 2 seed vs the patriots.

The Bengals have 4 loses, if they lose 2, won't Baltimore leap frog them. Then Cincy moves to 6 loses and we won the head to head

Bengals can still play for the 2 seed. They have the tiebreaker over the pats. If pats lose one hand and bengals win out, they get the bye week.

Considering the Ravens losing against NE is pretty big in one scenario, let's wait until the NE game before we start discussing this. Even if we beat NE, it's still hard to imagine thinking that Baltimore beating them is a good thing for our chances, and I'd much rather go into week 17 needing Baltimore to lose than New England.

Too many people assuming we will win in Buffalo. We should win that game but we should have beaten them in Miami earlier in the year with their practice squad QB.

The final game the Jets may still be trying for the wild card too so that won't be easy either. Still an uphill battle for us but we should be able to get the WC.

Most fans here don't assume anything except that we will probably lose to NE. But when it comes down to it, there is reason to believe that this team is more likely to win those games than not, even though anyone who has watched this season knows we have been capable of losing to anyone. I think we are going to luck out in that Buffalo hasn't been starting Thad Lewis, probably due to an injury or something, and starting some kid named Manuel who seems to be much worse.

I do have to remember that when our situations were reversed from what could likely be the case this year, we kept the Jets out of the playoffs with a week 17 win. We definitely shouldn't expect Geno Smith to miss all of his receivers by 5 yards again, and the game a week ago could have been drastically different if he could have.

There is one more path that I have yet to see anyone mention. If the fins and ravens both lose one more time and we both win our other games, and the chargers win out, we will all three end tied from different divisions. In case of a 3 way tie for the wildcard from teams from 3 different divisions, it only goes to head to head IF one of the 3 teams have swept BOTH teams or has BEEN swept by both teams. The ravens and chargers don't play each other so that does not apply. The next tie breaker is conference record, which we are 6-3 the ravens are 6-4 and chargers are 3-6. If us and the ravens both lose one game (as long as the ravens loss wasn't to the lions) we would end up 8-4 in conference and they would end up 7-5 in conference, while the chargers would be 6-6. That would put us in ahead of the ravens, and into the playoffs.

Now this is a long shot since the chargers would have to win out vs the donkeys, chiefs and raiders, but it is a possibility that I haven't seen mentioned.

I cannot believe some fans are writing off the Bills and Jets so quickly. Literally anything can happen in a rivalry game, and both of those teams hate our guts and would love to end our season.
