Munster fans are famous above all others in Europe for their staunch support and passion for the game. A player can break five tackles and make six players miss a tackle on the way to a score but the fans will always applaud the lad who makes an all or nothing tackle to secure a victory over the spectacular because they value heart.
Arsenal are renowned throughout soccer with Barcelona as the most entertaining teams in the world. Ask an Arsenal fan who their favourite player this season is and they will say Thomas Vermaelen, a defender, with the heart of a lion.
The last time I posted here was a long time ago. One of the reasons for this was because of the vitriol I received for condemning ginn for going out of bounds and losing 2/3 yards on a play. Better he protects himself I was told.
I am not american. I have not played football. I love the dolphins. LOVE THEM!!. I have had enough of guys like ginn, and I hate to say it, Wilson too. If I had the chance these guys do, a one in a lifetime chance, I would take it. I don't have the talent or skills but for ****'s sake I will take the hit, gladly. Enjoy it. What an opportunity?
In a weird way, this is the best team we have had in a long time. I honestly believe we are only a few pieces short of a seriously good playoff team. We fall short with regard to character. I'm not interested in who drafted who. Who signed who. These are men for God's sake. Have they no natural pride? Is it all about money? Is it cowardice? This is not a rhetorical question. I am asking ye. Most of ye have played football. Rugby was my game. No less physical and talent notwithstanding, I would throw myself into every tackle if only to save face with my teammates. What the hell is wrong with these guys?
I know I rant. I know when I calm down all will seem not so bad, but I am sick of watching wasters ruining what I genuinely believe to a team just short by three or four of a serious team. And it's all going to waste because of a few bad apples!
